The Jade Garden Restaurant offers the best Chinese cuisine in Summerside, with a unique and delicious take on Chinese-Canadian food. The service is great, very fast and friendly, and the place is not normally busy. The buffet, particularly the ribs, rice, veggies, and exceptional chicken balls, is a standout. The fried chicken balls have a lot of chicken breast inside, not mostly batter. The selection of dishes isn’t large, but the seasoning is good—not too salty and close to homemade flavors. While prices have gone up, the food is always of the utmost quality. They charge for food waste, so don’t take more than you can eat. Vegetarian options are available, and parking is easy in the strip mall lot.
