Good food at reasonable prices. There were 2 people serving food, clearing tables and taking the payments. Regular customers were greeted by name. 2 women came in to pick up an order and told the person at the till that their mother/grandmother had passed. The women were hugged and consoled; their order was on the house. This is a caring establishment.
We were on vacation and happened upon this restaurant. Reasonably priced, good tasting food. Not a fancy place but you will feel the connection this restaurant has with the community as we did. Wait staff are friendly and appeared to know many of the customers by name. The operator was very patient with and eventually helped an elderly woman who struggled with the point of sale machine as the woman paid for her food. A little later two females came in to pick up a take out order...
