On my quest for the best lobster rolls in our trip to Prince Edward Island, this one at the Lobster Barn in Victoria was by far the best. Easily a pound of lobster meat over flowing the bun. Exceptionally delicious flavours. And I had tried many. Not cheap but definitely worth it!

Very nice place on the coast. Nice views from the restaurant. We ordered lobster caesar salad, clam chowder, lobster roll, shrimp po boy, carrot cake and coconut cream pie cheesecake. Everything was amazing! The food came out incredible quick and the service was very friendly.

Less luster than expected. A number of the menu items were crossed out (including the lobster dinner - which is what we came for) Apparently they were closing for the winter the next day. Food was ok...

I've enjoyed PEI mussels for years, but to be ON PEI and enjoy them straight from the water....magnificent! The portion was huge and delicious, and the bread they were served with was perfect! That blueberry and cranberry salad on the side was a taste treat only to be experienced in person - WOW!

It was delicious but very pricey. A lobster roll with upgraded side salad was $39. The salad was good, but not worth a $7 upcharge. Still, it was a great meal. The sourdough was amazing.

The food was good. Fish & chips were better than the lobster to us.

While exploring PEI, we came across the Lobster Barn and decided to stop by for a quick snack. The place offers both takeout and dine-in options, and we opted for takeout. We ordered the seafood chowder for $20, and it was really good! It had corn and a variety of other ingredients, and I definitely enjoyed it. The biscuit that came with it was great, too.

The staff were super quick—our chowder was ready in just a couple of minutes. Even though we weren’t dining in, they kindly let us use the washroom, which was appreciated. The location was convenient, and the overall experience was pleasant. While $20 might be a bit pricey for chowder, the taste and service made it worth it. I’d come back for the chowder again!

This is the type of small, out of the way little shed on a wharf restaurant you tell all your friends about. The decor was warm and cozy, very quaint in a small town on the water.

I'll make no bones about an important point right away if you're looking for a lobster sandwich, they can be PRICEY! We all wanted a lobster roll before leaving the island. They're rolls are priced at market price which in our case was $32 each. Ouch. That's a lot for a small sandwich and a side. NOW, THAT SAID... the small sandwich contains probably a pound of big, lobster meat pieces, there are a few different options (we tried the original and the warm buttered) they all come on a nicely toasted bun. We actually came to the conclusion the best would be the warm buttered with the homemade mayo on top but I digress. These were definitely among the best, if not the very best lobster roll I've ever eaten. The fries were very tasty large cut, even the potato salad was pretty good.

Treat yourself. Spend the money on a sandwich you'll remember. It's worth it.
