We tried the seitan steak (marked as vegetarian but is vegan) and it was very good. Staff was understanding and friendly, they said that they change the vegan option(s) seasonally but that the Azorean root curry always stays on the menu as apparently people love it!
Totally friendly welcome, great service, even better food! We are completely satisfied!

We ate there. There is a menu or buffet option. We went without a reservation but they made room for us. They recommended us very well about the dishes. Very friendly and professional and the food very good.

Great place, offers menu a la carte or around 12, you can eat a lot of different foods and costs approx. 12 €.
We had octopus and sword fish, a pineapple special desert and some ice cream, a bottle of water and a coffee for 41€.
Top experience, very tasteful.
Parking is near the church.

We were surprised to find a place with seitan stakes, fries, and even a chocolate mousse so far off the main path for tourists on the island
The atmosphere is cozy, the waiters are super friendly, and the food was very tasty and with plenty of vegetarian options. The cogumelos stroganoff is spectacular, and the garlic bread is delicious. Super recommended
Vegetarian options: Quite a few vegetarian options. Very notable since it is not common

We ordered two dishes - tuna steak and pork ribs. The dishes were filled with garlic, we took two bites and couldn't eat it anymore.

Very nice place. Local dishes from the bufet are ok. - possibility to try variety of local meals. Fish and veal also highly recommended. I also value that owners had lunch break together with staff sitting by one table sharing same meals as prepared for guests and having friendly discussions. Very respectful behaviour.

Very nice and pleasant environment of the restaurant. We arrived at a time when the buffet was no longer available, so we chose food from the menu. We had fish (tuna and swordfish). The fish was not bad, but the side vegetables were tasteless. We couldn't even identify two types of vegetables. The service was a bit awkward at first, probably because we took a long time to choose a table. After ordering, everything was fine.

For dessert we had the Poço Azul pineapple delice. It was surprisingly tasty and fresh.
Parking: There are some parking spaces at the church. From there it is less than a 200 meter walk.
