I stopped by this bar to avoid the heavy rain. The female owner was friendly, and today's soup was enough to warm me up on a rainy day. The beer was very fresh and good. I felt grateful and had a good rest.

After I don't know how many km on the way to Fátima, the despair of the heat and the climbs that massacred us made us despair! We stopped and decided to cool off with a nice black beer and replenish our strength with a ham sandwich ??. The spectacular service and the gentlemen who were at the cafe helped us reorganize our route, as the Monsanto hostel was inoperative and we had to divert to Alcanena. However, we ended up finding the signs again, perhaps an alternative route, we didn't know!

A small café/restaurant directly on the way to Fatima, which I can only recommend to everyone!Very tasty food at excellent prices and sufficient portions were also on top!Once we had the grilled sardines and once the meat platter, there was a very delicious soup, bread, olives, wine (1L) and finally a coffee.It was all part of the daily menu and we didn't have to pay extra for any of it.(To order you have to go to the bar otherwise it may take a while ;) )
