Avoid this space until management completely changes the menu and the way it is cooked. It has everything to be an excellent place, but the food is terrible. Basically fried fish with terrible flavor and little quantity. We enjoyed the coffee, wine and salad. And finally, life is never worth the price. IS EXPENSIVE.

I recommend staying hungry and survive until finding a better place to eat. Unless you just want to have coffee which was pretty good. The views are fine but it's not the main point when you stop to have a decent dinner. I don't know understand why in a such nice location you offer such poor food.

A very polite waiter who knows English, so foreign tourists can communicate with him without any problems. Nice atmosphere, the view of the river through the window makes the time more pleasant. The food, however, is a funny joke. The meat (beef, sausages) was hard and tasteless, the potatoes were very fatty and salty, but it was still the best ordered dish out of everything on my plate. It all cost about €20, a three-person dinner cost over €60 - definitely too much for food of such mediocre quality. If you want a nutritious and, above all, profitable dinner, you'd better look for another place.

We found the restaurant by chance. We actually just wanted a little something for lunch, but the dishes on offer convinced us to bring our dinner forward ;-)The menu was hand written in Portuguese and the selection was small, which was totally charming! Luckily the waiter was able to help us translate (English). We ordered the grilled bacon and the fried fish (fresh from the river). The dishes came with bread, olives, chips and salad and were plentiful. The price-performance ratio was great. Some locals came here for lunch and you immediately felt very comfortable. A great experience for anyone who wants to take a vacation away from tourism and luxury!Only recommended!

Overlooking the Douro, everything was excellent, from the dishes on the menu to the staff. Excellent tripe as well as small fish, a fantastic veal and a divine lamb accompanied by a great reserve red from another world. An experience to be repeated for sure. I recommend it.
