“Simple food, always well prepared and in generous portions. On some occasions it may be necessary to wait between 15 and 20 minutes for a table to vacate (depending on the time of day and the number of diners). The menu varies daily, although there are always house dishes such as Steak à Marquês.Economic prices and below the average of those practiced in other establishments in the area.Does not accept payment with Multibanco. It is also a great place to enjoy drinks between or after meals. It has a small terrace with two tables.“

“On Saturdays cooked Portuguese style with menu only €11.50, lots of abundance, plenty of variety of meats and sausages, excellent preparation. The menu includes the dish, bread, olives, drink, dessert and coffee. Lots of variety of desserts. I recommend.
Parking: Clean and very friendly staff.“
“...and felt compelled to write a review. It looks like nothing from the outside but oh my, the best chicken wings and potatas bravas we've ever had. It must be a family recipe. I've been told the clams are a special. Going to have them tomorrow. Incredible.“
“I am travelling all around the world the entire year across Asia, Americas and most of the countries of Europe, and Patio Antico is simply the Best in his category worldwide. I had most probably around 60 dinners there in past 5 years and 0 mistakes. Always an amazing experience.“

“Great restaurant conveniently located in the centre of Sintra. Staff are very attentive and professional. Food is well presented and well cooked with full of flavour. I would recommend both for a relaxed dinner as well as a romantic occasion. To be safe book ahead but when we went in, there were plenty of free tables, albeit it was an early dinner“

“The food was great. Amazing quality. However, the portions are very small and the prices are a bit expensive.
The staff was great, super friendly and helpful
The only thing I’d change are the portions. for the price I think they can increase it“

“It is a great family tranditional taste restaurant, everything is great, food, drinks and services. We shared table side by side with local people but it was so great experiences....we enjoyed the food with the people around us. We just love everything there. Even with the questions about local tourist sites, they took time to guide us ....just so warm and kind: the mother, father and the son, great“

“Revelation.
Very nice, professional and helpful service. Nice welcome, excellent proactive contact with guests.
You can feel that the approach to food is very good. The menu is not overloaded, the dishes are partly made from home-made products.
We can definitely recommend what we ate: Camaro a Tasco, Choco Frito, Cacholeira. And delicious ice cream.
The background music is also spot on, and there's a local atmosphere so you don't feel like you're a tourist.
Thank you. We will try to come back someday.“

“The food is prepared with care and cooked to perfection. I recommend the beef cheek with gratin. The fried seafood mix is also a great pick. Service can be slow due to being overcrowded, yet it is worth the wait and the staff is kind and professional. This location has both interior and exterior seating, keep “

“A relaxed and very nice place, with domestic tappas and some main dishes.
We ate some tapas and burgers. The burger was one of the top 3 that I ate. The waiter was great and translated the Portuguese menu into brilliant English. Definitely worth a return visit soon.

“We just spent a couple of days in Cascais and went twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. Food is great, cool laidback atmosphere. Service is super friendly. Just a bit slow at the end when we wanted to pay and leave (both times we had to ask for the check multiple times). But a cool place to eat and have a drink nonetheless.“

“The second time in three days that we have come here especially for them. They confirm themselves to be excellence for us. We ate in other places in Lisbon but how you eat here and for what you pay is incomparable to anyone else. The service then unsurpassed. They are very attentive to the customer, it feels like family, generous portions and very low prices. They also offered us some liqueurs at the end and an extra coffee. They are wonderful people. I have no other words to describe them, only that if you don't pass by here you don't know what you're missing. You won't find anything better.“

“Best seaside dining option in Cascais! All seats have a view of the beautiful beach and harbor and the food was so good that we went back twice! Highly recommend the breaded squid. As a peanut butter lover I was pleasantly surprised to find a peanut butter, caramel, and chocolate dessert on the menu. ❤️“

“A really lovely late lunch/early dinner. Sat outside and had a great time. We got piri piri prawns, breaded cuttlefish, bruschetta, sautéed mushrooms, honey sausage - would recommend all of those! Sangria was great and we tried the port too. The service was excellent, very kind people and felt like a very authentic experience and opportunity to learn more about Sintra. It’s about 5 minutes from the station so ideal for the start or end of a day trip. Also, they have soft blankets if it feels a little chilly. A highlight of our holiday and a meal we won’t forget!“

“The food, the atmosphere and service were all outstanding. The waiters were all super nice, the mashed potatoes, cod and the national loin thing were all amazing, and you could see the chef making everything by hand, making a new batch of mashed potatoes every time someone ordered it. The prices were really good for how good the food was, and this is probably the best restaurant I have ever been to!“

“Such a special place and an absolute must for dinner in Lisbon.
The food was incredible and the small details within their wonderful service was so very special.
Make sure you book... It's hard to get a table and you definitely can't just walk in. (August)“

“The place is nice and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The pasta is served… differently. You won’t get the plate with the pasta directly. The waiter will come with a different portable table on which they have the pans in which the pasta was cooked. Then they’ll put the pasta on the plate in front of you. It’s stupid, but for some reason, really enjoyable.
We really liked it and we recommend the restaurant.
If you go, make sure to order some wine, it will make everything even better.“

“This was another restaurant on my radar due to the frequencing of local people . We ate here twice and booked both times because it gets busy and people queue down the stairs. Both nights the service was spot on and quick considering it’s so busy. The garlic bread as usual is lovely and the portion sizes are huge. You get what you order and then chips, potatoes, rice and veg to share depending on what they have fresh that day. No room for puds. A glass of wine and a beer and the bill was 32 euros. Fantastic place, I am glad we found it.“
