I went to lunch with a different person two days ago and the conclusion was the same, good value for money. I recommend it for everyday life, good cuisine, without great services and refinements, but I recommend it given the location is far above what exists in the surrounding area. Wishes that don't get ruined ??
On our last morning in Lisbon we stopped for a pastry and coffee before leaving for Porto on the train. This was in our neighborhood, a few blocks from our hotel. We bought egg sandwiches that we ate on the sidewalk seating outside the restaurant. The bustle of people with places to go and things to do was a different vibe than we had experienced during the rest of our visit. The food was OK ... not fancy, but also not too expensive.
Having read previous reviews, decided to find out if the toast really was that good, I can 100% confirm, the toast is awesome, toast at home will never be the same again. I would like to add that the rest of the breakfast was also very nice indeed and the staff were friendly, helpful and chatty. All in all a great place to have breakfast, we returned each day of our stay.
