Restaurante O Lusitano is an excellent restaurant away from the touristy spots, offering great food, an impressive wine selection, and attentive service. The restaurant is very accommodating for families, with a special mention for the delicious Iberian pork cheeks, steak with polenta and grilled veggies, and the exceptional Algarve Delicacy dessert. The traditional sausage and (monkfish) cataplana are also highly recommended, accompanied by a perfect white wine suggested by the staff. This hidden gem is a 100% recommended dining experience.
