“The popular Portuguese restaurant that I like. I recommend the bacalhau assado (braised cod, sometimes a bit salty but still very tasty with potatoes, then a Portuguese would tell you that cod, if it is not salted, it is not cod!)
A dish that is enjoyed with a lot of olive oil: you mash the small potatoes and you sprinkle your cod and your potatoes with azeite (olive oil), it's a treat!
Family home with impeccable service.
Be careful, they do not take reservations, during the summer it is better to show up at the start of the service.“
“We stopped at this place today at 14:30pm. It is small and cute restaurant. It was full inside (only Portuguese people), but a table was available outside. I thought they would be closing the kitchen and maybe not accept us at that time, but they were very friendly and helpful. We had some entres - melon, farinheira and a bread from the oven, the main course we had the chicken and 2 delicious porc dishes, with migas, rice and salad. I ordered a 1/2 bottle of wine, a large bottle of water and a coke. We shared the desert ‘pao rala’ and we ordered the melon again. The food was delicious and tasteful. Simple and honest traditional food! my favorite was the fried porc… the 4 of was had enough to est and the bill was €68 in total. I would return to this place in the small village outside Elvas.“

“The best restaurant in the area, at lunchtime you eat there for 10 euros all inclusive. Typical and hearty dish! For wine lovers, the one served in a pitcher is fabulous! If you are in the area you absolutely have to go there. The setting is great with beautiful decoration and a truly atypical downstairs room because there is a rock on which the restaurant was built directly.“

“Very tasty food, very good house red wine, very attentive employees, it's a shame the pseudo doctors and engineers spoke on the cell phone in enough tone for the whole room to know that they were having lunch with the engineer. X and Doctor Y!“

“The food is very good at an appropriate price. All that was asked for was greater service dexterity, but it may have been a less happy day... even so, it was well worth it, given that the cuisine is typical Portuguese and of high quality. The detail of the light switches is a treat...“

“(Translated by Google) Pleasant space, the family pizzas are perfect for 3. The one with nettle sausage was a pleasant surprise! The garlic rolls were a little disappointing, simple small buns with a garlic butter cut. The pizzas yes, and that's why we went there, they were very satisfying. Friendly service.(Original)Espaço agradável, as pizzas familiares dão perfeitamente para 3. A com alheira de urtiga foi uma agradável surpresa! Os pãozinhos de alho foram um pouco decepcionantes, simples pães pequenos com um corte com manteiga de alho. As pizzas sim, e foi por isso que lá fomos, satisfizeram bem. Simpático atendimento.“

“Authentic Portuguese food at its very best. I had to head early to get a seat, it’s small, friendly and packs a big heart. Such a wonderful place with a compact and tasty menu. Locally sourced, highly recommended if you are ever in Lisbon and want to eat somewhere the locals love. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful experience.“
