“We stopped at this place today at 14:30pm. It is small and cute restaurant. It was full inside (only Portuguese people), but a table was available outside. I thought they would be closing the kitchen and maybe not accept us at that time, but they were very friendly and helpful. We had some entres - melon, farinheira and a bread from the oven, the main course we had the chicken and 2 delicious porc dishes, with migas, rice and salad. I ordered a 1/2 bottle of wine, a large bottle of water and a coke. We shared the desert ‘pao rala’ and we ordered the melon again. The food was delicious and tasteful. Simple and honest traditional food! my favorite was the fried porc… the 4 of was had enough to est and the bill was €68 in total. I would return to this place in the small village outside Elvas.“

“The best restaurant in the area, at lunchtime you eat there for 10 euros all inclusive. Typical and hearty dish! For wine lovers, the one served in a pitcher is fabulous! If you are in the area you absolutely have to go there. The setting is great with beautiful decoration and a truly atypical downstairs room because there is a rock on which the restaurant was built directly.“
