I had lunch there today. I ordered octopus à lagareiro, but they gave me a snack of small pieces of octopus that I had to pay as if it were octopus à lagareiro, 12 euros. A glass of acidified wine.The lady is unfriendly and did not take the complaint well.I advise against it.

Very simple, unassuming locale, with tasty authentic Alentejo food. Family-run, you will find mostly locals here. We had migas made with locally-harvested asparagus and fresh coriander, pork loin and slices of orange. As usual in out-of-the-way places in the Alentejo, excellent cheese and cold cuts. All the desserts are made by the owner herself. Topnotch tiramisu.

Lost in this immensity of Alentejo land, during vacation time, when it's time for dinner we run our fingers through Google Maps looking for places where good food is the best reference. Between phone calls where most responses are silence, a sign that the people of this land are also on vacation, we come into contact with A Romeirinha. The female voice that answers us soon says that there will be no time for dinner, because there is little left after midday. We ordered dinner for four, as it was getting dark and we were very hungry. He then told us to go there, but there was no more bread and what the house does very well (alguidar meat with asparagus crumbs) there was little left. We take risks. When we arrived, placed at the back table, we were "presented" with a "dry chat" (it was big) and some ham. The minis came and refreshed their throats and cleaned up this dust made of hot, yellow earth from the Alentejo plain. The wine came and the stomach adjusted. Then came what was there, a few portions of alguidar meat crumbs and two platters of crumbs with beef steak. And we eat with hunger and desire and then we enjoy it. We let the dessert dissolve into hot coffees that the night already called for. The bill was small (€52.00). We concluded that one day we will return. The asparagus crumbs deserve it.

We have been touring Portugal for 12 days, we went down the entire coast and now we are going up the entire N-2 from Faro eating and dining out every day and this restaurant along with another in Nazaret (Fonte Mar) the best of the best with a lot of difference over the rest . We made a stop to sleep in Evora and we decided to stop to eat in this place because of the reviews, it was a success, both me and my partner enjoyed the food service of the place itself (a place from before with a lot of quality in the product) and a good hand in the kitchen) and to top off the good price of all the dishes .......homemade desserts of 10!!!!thank you for having places like this that still make you leave with a smile for having enjoyed TRUE!!! We ate the octopus, the migas, the cod with cream, white wine from the house (rich rich) white brown cake and it did not reach 45 euros.

The service left a lot to be desired, as it was only when we arrived that they informed us that it had to be made by appointment because of the movement while there were only 2 tables occupied. We sat there for a long time without drinks or starters and when they came to order it looked like they were making an effort. Really quite good food about that we can't say anything against it.
