It lost a lot of quality Terrible suckling pig ? it looked more cooked than roasted in the oven, it was almost all taken back for the very bad price I won't do it again ???

Just wow. I can not say enough about this meal. The pig, the Spumante, everything was made to perfection. There was a bit of a wait but that is a testament to the food you will have.

The suckling pig is very good, good quality, good seasoning. Friendly staff, drinks could have been cooler (sparkling wine was a little hot).

I'm a regular customer of this place, I was a customer of Rei dos Leitões but due to the excellent piglet they have I changed. Yesterday, 19/07, FRIDAY, I arrived at Nova Casa with a friend from the south of the country. We went to Nova Casa dos Leitões so that I could check out everything I always said good about this space, but yesterday was the total disappointment, we entered the restaurant at around 9:25 pm and ordered suckling pig and a dose of cabidela. After 2 minutes, the man who attended to us said that there were no more piglets... that was ok, we continued with the suckling pig. Around 10pm we asked for some more suckling pig, I was shocked when they told us that there were no more... they only had heads! talk about a Friday, not just any day of the week. We ended up ordering potato and orange salad, and finishing a meal at a piglet house as if we had been at an IC2 buffet. On the way, we had to stop at another restaurant to eat a suckling pig sandwich. I was embarrassed next to the person I spoke wonderful things to. The indifference and lack of search for any valid alternative on the part of the man who was hanging around the tables was worrying...not to mention that while he was setting up the tables for the next day, he whistled, making it look like a roadside restaurant with a guesthouse on the first floor. .
