Location off the tourist circuit, informal (family) service. Homemade and genuine food... Excellent quality/price ratio for the prices charged in the region.

Terrible customer service, I went with some family members for dinner and, as soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a very rude man. I asked for a table for 6 people and he offered us a seat on the terrace. I replied that we would prefer a non-smoking place, to which you replied that you couldn't ask people to stop smoking, which we never asked for. There was a closed room with several tables and only one was occupied. My husband intervened to add that we were with a pregnant woman and two children. The man didn't stop complaining and finally gave us a table. We didn't decide to leave because we didn't have time to look for another place. The food, nothing special.

Luis and his staff cook authentic Portuguese food, and the best cataplana you can get (order the day before). This is where you go for simple, delicious food. At a price which won't leave you feeling ripped off.

It took some time for the food to arrive. Regarding the service, the employee was playful, but in the end he didn't want to issue an invoice to the taxpayer (but he did).
Fair price with wine.

Amazing food. Good price. Not full of tourists. One of the few places where we actually saw locals. Really quiet place as well.

Wij hebben al meerdere keren perfect gegeten bij Adega Do David. Vandaag hadden wij de Dorade en lamskoteletjes. Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Lekker eten hoeft niet duur te zijn. Gezellige portugese sfeer en ambiance. Zekere een aanrader.

French family with 2 young children.
Traditional restaurant, with local customers. 2 x cheaper than tourist restaurants in the center. Friendly atmosphere, like at home!

Authentic Portuguese food at an extraordinary price. You get away from the people in the center and it's also cheap. Of course, be very patient because the kitchen is very slow and it takes approximately 1 hour to serve you. I recommend ordering the sardine pate and the bread to snack on and the bottle of white wine. We paid about €20 per person. The grilled picaña is extraordinary and the seafood cataplana is a spectacle.

Tasty food for very reasonable price, we enjoyed it and would come back. It‘s a hidden gem for honest food, away from all the touristy stuff at Albufeira.
