Been here for several omelettes now. Delicious. Takes a while from ordering. So be prepared to wait. But worth it. The lady serving works limping hours and always for some reason looks sad. My hubby had the burger he said it was extremely tasty. Both served with chips lettuce tomato. At a reasonable price for around €8

Absolutely loved this bar/restaurant! Perfectly situated for us, being less than half a mile from our hotel. The food was fab and very reasonably priced. We visited a number of times for breakfast and brunch and each time the food and service was wonderful (I recommend the omelettes and the chicken and pineapple baguettes). The staff are so friendly and very efficient and I would highly recommend that you give them a try!

What a find. Came to drop bags off and we were met by a super friendly lady who told us where to put them and looked after us. We had breakfast an they do the best omelettes In Albufeira. Then before we got picked up by our taxi we had a cheese an ham salad the food and the staff were superb.

Great full English breakfast at an unbelievable price, away from the main tourist track so local prices (11 euro for 2 breakfasts + drinks). Highly recommend this place, staff were super friendly also.

Now - filter out drunkenly exited reviews written by passing by tourists.Place from the outside looks like a regular Portuguese (or as a matter of fact - most European places) where people go mostly to have a drink, talk to friends and watch TVs.But it was late, I felt lazy and even though place is very close to my apartment since I have never been there - I decided to give it a try.Tap beer appeared immediately - why would not it as places like that make money on alcohol mostly.Then, only after about a little more than an hour - chicken piri piri arrived. Size of the portion was self explanatory why price was slightly below any neighboring cafe (though Cepa Velha close by has it for .20c less). Price was slightly below, but size - at least twice less than you get in most places - that is why they call it "snack bar".The taste...it was OK, but - big big BUT - it was so salty that my lips and tongue started to burn immediately (watching blood pressure now in fear)Overall - place is quite mundane, one of those people will pass every time after one time they took a chance on it. If you just want to get drunk - sure...Bye Calipto...
