Our dinners at Manel dos Frangos during the summer holidays on Oura beach are now traditional.
The chicken is still excellent.
The service is good and the staff are friendly and hard-working.
I continue to recommend.

The best “franguinho da Guia” in the Algarve. However, year after year it has been losing some magic. It could be a phase. We hope so.

A micro chicken 13.50? I was ashamed to sell a chicken like that and at that price.

Don't go to this restaurant Take 1 basket or 2 of bread and cobtan € 1..5 per person I've been there for years when Joaquim was head waiter Now be careful there are always a few portions left in the 1/2 chicken and the Brazilians and turbots know nothing about serving tables..Escape from there.....whenever possible

We had the peri peri check at this restaurant and it was delicious. No doubt about the food but let’s compare it with other restaurants serving the same exact food in Restaurante Franguinho de Albufeira Albufeira- this one does fall short. Why because it is slightly overpriced and tastes slightly less delicious but overall it is an amazing restaurant serving some great chicken. Period. Their shrimps cost 25, that’s a deal breaker to sure considering that’s the price of a full meal at some other places that serve an equally delicious meal.

Best chicken I’ve had in my life. It was juicy, flavourful and fresh. Service was great. The salad was also really good. Definitely recommend trying it. Not to mention the white sangria is also delicious.

A restaurant anarchic tourists, food certainly good regarding the dish, but deplorable value for money. We ordered 3 half chickens for 3 people, the quantity was not even enough for one person. We came out of the restaurant still hungry, in Portugal that’s unheard of!
In addition, the desserts offered are mostly frozen.
We do not recommend this restaurant.
