A fabulous Indian restaurant! Fans of Bick Lane in London this restaurant is a hundred times better. We ate chicken tikka massala there twice in two days because the dishes were so delicious. The staff is very attentive and attentive. We will definitely come back. Accepted a booking for Christmas day, when we got there it was shut ? we were coming on holiday for Christmas so we didn't know if anywhere was open, totally let down but when we got there we were glad it was closed the front looks unkempt and dirty so can't imagine what the food was like .

I ordered a lamb vindaloo and keema nan delivered by glovo, the curry came in a round plastic container about an inch of curry and 4 very small pieces of lamb. A vindaloo should be hot and spicy, but it had no heat. €15 for a nan bread and very little curry. I definitely won't use them again.

Arrived just before 9pm. No customers in the restaurant- not a good sign at a busy time of year. No staff either, so I grabbed a menu. After 10 minutes I heard voices downstairs which had a sign for toilets I ventured down I saw a few staff in the kitchen which seemed to be next to the toilets and and room which had some beds. I asked one of the guys if the restaurant was still open. He said it was. Anyway I ordered a prawn curry and requested it to be made extra hot, very hot as that's the way I like it. Curry came. It was bland and not in the least bit spicy. No spice whatsoever in fact. Just a bland orange coloured sauce. I looked for the waiter but he had disappeared downstairs. I finished off the curry while waiting for him to reappear. When he did I called him over and explained that the curry wasn't made as I'd asked for and there was no spice flavour at all. He sort of laughed nervously and took the plates away. No apology, no explanation or any attempt to put things right. After another ten mins I asked for the bill. No deduction and again, no apology or explanation. There are so many great Indian restaurants in Albufeira who provide top class cuisine. So I was very disappointed with Curry Club. No wonder it was empty! Avoid. I gave it 2 stars because the prawns were ok.
