We visited Donaldo's twice during our visit to Albufiera, on the Algarve in Portugal. It is easily the best restaurant we have found. The Staff were all incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their food.The food was excellent on both our visits. A party of 4, and all of us having different meals and starters each time. Highly recommend a visit.

One of my favourite restaurants in Albufeira. Jorge is a great guy makes you feel welcome from the off. Food was spot on. Service was brilliant. Never felt rushed once as per previous reviews. My daughter wanted to go back again on the Wednesday but didn't realise they were shut. Doesn't look much from the outside but I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Was looking for a place for dinner, as I was browsing the menu one of the staff came over and explained the specials. Was particularly sold on the fresh meat and fish on display at the front.I had the grilled sardines for starter (as I was told they are best from the end of May) and one of the specials - rump steak (comes with sides). They give a lot of meat on a plate, so excellent value for money. The staff are very friendly and genuinely seem to care about your dining experience (even for a lone diner like me). Traditional Portuguese cuisine that is an absolute must when you're in Albufeira.

A fantastic menu of both traditional Portuguese dishes and international dishes. Friendly helpful staff. Delicious food, so good we went back a second time!

Chuck em in George welcomed us in. The waiting staff are very friendlyfew of us had Ribeye steak it was amazing the portions are huge, definately value for money. we will be back

After a very warm welcome and seated by George , we ordered the chicken piri piri and the ribs. service was faultless, and the food was excellent. It's definitely worth a visit if you like the perfect meal.

Wish I had found Donaldos on day one of my holiday instead of the last day.Great authentic Portuguese restaurant on the top of the strip in New Town.The food is simple and delicious and staff are great.If you get tired of the dreadful Portuguese version of bad English food go to Donaldos.

Donaldos is the hands down the best place to eat, me and 4 friends pretty much ate there every night. They treated us like royalty and the stake omfg , 35 euro for a stake you’d pay 80 for back in the uk !!! Unbelievable

Great food at reasonable prices, the portion sizes and flavours were great! We went about 6.30pm and were out by 7.30pm. Shame it felt a little rushed but the food made it well worth the visit

As per most reviews, we mainly decided to go here because of the fabulous George who we met outside and helped us get a taxi. As promised we returned the next day. The food was delicious and even allowed to make amendments to my choices. The only negative was the waiters hung around too much, presumably to get us out early to get new people in which understand to make money but it was a little off-putting for some of our table.
