Unfortunately despite the friendly and apologetic waiter, I feel obliged to write a review highlighting the poor quality of food and lack of management we experienced. We ordered wine and waited ages for an ice bucket and when it came it had water and only 4 ice cubes in it!?
Food wise, we got reheated/stale tasting Potato Bravas tapas, my son's fajitas tasted ok, but it came in just one wrap folded and loaded inside. When I asked for another wrap to divide it up and allow him to pick it up, it came out rock hard!! My husband had pretty over cooked seabass, and our dessert cheesecake was still frozen somI had to send it back! In fairness gran enjoyed her lasagne and apply pie with no complaints, but personally, I would save your money and go elsewhere! Might have felt less dissapointed and robbed if the management had even acknowledged our poor experience. Hope they can use the feedback to improve things.

We had a tasty meal here on a lovely patio at the marina. The service was very attentive and friendly. We would recommend it for an easy and convenient dinner at the Marina. Kids pasta was a hit with our child!

We had the seafood Paella, Siciliana and garlic prawn and they were all spot on. Brilliant atmosphere with outside fan and some shade. I’d recommend having lunch and drinks here.

El Barrio is an average restaurant. The service was poor; on three occasions we ordered something (drinks, sauces) and the waiter forgot. The waiter also delivered our steaks not knowing how they were cooked.

The food was ok. On the positive side the menu did have a good selection of dishes.

Would I go back or recommend it to a friend - no.

My experience at this establishment was disastrous. The food was deplorable, and left me admitted to the hospital due to some bacteria in my meal. The service was terrible, they brought us the wrong drinks and didn't understand anything we asked them to do. In short, I demand an ASAE inspection of this location to close its kitchen, which clearly does not meet the stipulated conditions.

Had the vegan burger. Very disapointed. If it had been meat I would have thought it was outdated. (tasted on) My coffee tasted like nail polish remover.

Pleasant staff, they capture customers in your language and when we entered the bar it was a little difficult for us to communicate with the waiters. Very good food . Fast service . Medium-high price, we thought the price of water was a little excessive, €4 for a 1.5L bottle.

Had to wait inside for 20mins to be seated at a table for food, was told would be 5-10min wait.not a big deal I guess.

The atmosphere is nice. We couldn't hear our server because he spoke so less loud.
The food, meh... was ok, not sure which items were fresh, besides the shrimp. We got a surf and turf and a black squid risotto. The steak was ordered Medium and came more to well done.
The sauce they put on it was very weird, sweet but sour, and bitter.
The side salad had no sauce.
The risotto was saltless and over cooked. Could have been a frozen piece that they reheated and added fresh herbs...
Would not recommend.
