Attracted by the numerous vegetarian and vegan options announced on the menu, we gave it a try. It was oppressively hot that day. We note with disappointment that only the lounge tables (only for consuming drinks) are equipped with misters. Those who come to have a bite to eat have the right to die of heat! I ordered a vegan burger and I ended up with 2 pieces of bread, a very fatty potato rosti and that's it! I do better in my kitchen. Luckily there was a micro salad to accompany it, I used it as a garnish. No sauce apart from packets of ketchup and industrial mayonnaise. Not to mention the coleslaw made with mayonnaise… in short, a great disappointment! I put an extra star because the fries were very good

Vegetarian options: I only tried one vegetarian dish (the burger) but I don’t recommend it to anyone. Replacing the steak with a potato rosti and serving it with fries is nonsense to me.

Massive portions for the price, a lot of options for dietary requirements and there are the options to customize different dishes so easy to find something you'll love.

Nice atmosphere at the harbor. Unfortunately my chicken wrap was inedible: the first one was extremely spicy without warning - went back. The next one was completely without sauce or seasoned in any way and the chicken was completely dry. Staff not particularly friendly.

We opted to eat here because of the vegan options. They charged my phone while I ate, which I really appreciated. The food is very good and in large quantities.

Huge quantity, no one managed to finish their dish. The fish n chips are excellent, the fish is tender and very crispy.
Would not recommend the nachos and the pork liver which is very filling.
The iced coffee is good.

While the staff was friendly and our appetizers arrived promptly, the main course took an unacceptable 2 hours to reach our table. This was by far the slowest service I've ever experienced at a restaurant. When the food finally arrived, it was a mixed bag. The chicken burger was very dry and not worth recommending, though the regular burger was okay. The excessive wait time for our entrees, combined with the inconsistent food quality, significantly detracted from the overall dining experience, despite the initial positive impression. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on the extremely slow service and hit-or-miss main courses.

Fantastic food and service. Genuinely lovely staff that are clearly happy to offer their experience and advice. The food for two nights has been genuinely excellent. The conversation has also been really good and amusing. Special shout-out to Mojito, Gabriel, and especially Usha - who has shared her life experience and provided engaging insight. Fantastic place and we'll be back when we visit again soon. Thanks guys.

Cute little restaurant/café at the port of Albufeira.
Nice outdoor area right on the water with lounges where you can have drinks and tables where you can also eat.
The waiters are all super nice, communicating in English was no problem at all.
The Summerfruit Smoothie is definitely recommended as a refreshment in between meals, incredibly tasty.
We also had a chicken and bacon wrap, which was also really great. Here you even have the choice between two different sauces, one a little hotter and whether you want marinated or non-marinated chicken.
Really cool for such a small, insignificant meal.

All in all, Fat Cats on the Marina is really a recommendation if you are traveling in the port of Albufeira.

Card payment wasn't a problem here either.

We were charged for an unordered dip and when it came time to add it they didn't want to hear anything, not very commercial so, a shame because the setting is very nice, we are immediately at ease. The food is good, from burgers, classics like Portuguese fish & ships, to cod and that's welcome! Very delicious desserts and very good cocktails (be careful, happy hour does not include all cocktails). Small downside therefore, perhaps due to the language barrier.
