Although the service was a little slow, we were made to feel very welcome and the food was absolutely worth the wait - we had two curries (one Nepali vegetable curry and an Indian paneer curry) and both were absolutely delicious.
Amazing curry, genuine Nepalese cooking, the best I have had since I spent 3 weeks in Nepal 10years ago. Lovely welcoming staff. I mentioned I was vegan when asking about the naan bread and whether it was butter or oil on the garlic naan, the lovely server advised me that there might be milk in the dough so suggested kindly I have rice. My wife and I shared the vegetable samosa and veg pakoda to start. They were both wonderful and fresh, the spice mixes were superb. I then had the aloo modi tama which again, had a superb spice blend. I had the mild which gave a little gentle heat whilst being very tasty. My wife had the chicken makhani which she described as rich and creamy with succulent chicken having been cooked in the tandoor.The staff were friendly and welcoming, if we were staying longer we would definitely visit again. We both had a fabulous meal and I will happily recommend to anyone. The food was very good quality for a good price too.

We went tonight for a meal (18/09/2023) I had the chicken tikke masala and my wife had the butter chicken and hand on heart was the best I have ever had. We also had starters of onion bhajis and the lamb tikka again both we beautiful.The couple that run this place were lovely, so friendly, very chatty and attentive and we will definitely return.Give this place a try if you are looking for good food by lovely people.We will be back, thanks again.

Waited nearly an hour an 30 mins still no starter come out. Suddenly when we got up to go the starters arrived but we turned them down. Everyone else looked in the same boat. Wouldn’t mind but there’s only 12 tables in total there.. go elsewhere ??

I don’t normally leave a review but the lovely family at Indian Taj looked after us so kindly on each of our visits that I simply couldn’t miss the chance to thank them. The food is beautiful and the service is impeccable. You won’t be disappointed and we would recommend this wonderful restaurant to anyone visiting the area.

We came as it had good reviews, did not disappoint, was fairly quiet as was Sunday evening, most places in the area were closed. Food was fantastic, really good value. Enjoyed it.

Had an excellent family meal at the Indian Taj tonight. Food was excellent as was the service. Owners are very friendly and looked after me, my wife and 6 year old son. We are All inclusive at the 3hb just across the road but fancied a treat and it was well worth it.
