We went here after a boat trip for some Irish food in albuferia. Food was ok but what made it so bad was the staff. They were so rude and unfriendly when ordering food and paying the bill. Staff member Marío rolled his eyes when sorting out payment to split the bill. Just not a great experience and atmosphere for an Irish pub. We expected a much friendlier atmosphere for 6 Irish girls on our holidays. Will not be returning! Stay clear.

Great atmosphere here, it's always one of the busier places.
Now I'm not saying go for a romantic meal here, but it's the perfect place for a snack and some drinks after a day of beach or travelling, just sit by the Marina and soak it in, often has live music on inside, always has the footy on.
The pizzas are great here and it's pretty well priced. ?

I only had an amazing experience in Portugal except for here. I’m a solo traveler and at the time I went there there every single table on the terrace was empty however some waitress with blonde hair (think she could be British) wouldnt allow me to sit at a decent seat. She wanted to put me behind a screen as that was the only table with 3 seats ( the rest being 4) I politely asked if they don’t cater for single people. Long story short horrible experience. Once I finished my boat trip went back for a good pint of guiness and was not served until I had to go myself to the bar. Very sad. Only bad experience I had in Portugal! Won’t ever return to Jacks.

Visited the marina and decided to have lunch in the Irish pub. We started by ordering drinks and then food. The service we got when ordering was good. However, when we paid for the bill, we asked for three separate bills as three separate orders. The server said they would rather us do one as easier for her. We weren't happy with this. Our party complained but they just said it shouldn't have happened. That was very disappointing. The meals we had were nice, full English breakfast, sausage baguette and ham and cheese salad. We sat outside and had music. It was very enjoyable.
The only positive I can give this place is that it has a nice view of the marina. The pies, pasta and chips felt like they were straight out of the microwave and the waitress probably needed five minutes on defrost too.
The older English waitress who served us didn't have much interest in her job and came across as pretty rude. I overheard her take an order from another table and she made the person at that table feel really uncomfortable for ordering a smaller portion from the child's menu.
My bill seemed extraordinarily high and when I asked for a bill to see what I was paying for I was told I had to pay first to get the bill. This meant I had to pay €55 extra and then five minutes later she realised she'd charged me for another tables meals too.
Even then she didn't give me a receipt and she tried to workout in her head how much I overpaid by showing me the food and drink order of the four people at another table on a small handheld ordering device.
Based on my experience I can't recommend eating here. If you do, make sure you check your bill.

Went here for lunch with portugues friends. Very disappointing that it seemed very few staff actually spoke portugues. Prices are way over the top, €3.75 for the same bottle of beer I can get at home for €1. Food was OK but nothing exceptional.
