I was there for approx. 7 years ago. The food is fantastic and the service is very good. I got a gift from the man because I looked at his nice things from the beach. They are very nice people!

We visited this place twice while staying at Cerro Malpique appartments which is just round the corner from Joseph's bar , there is very little else in this area so it's perfect if you don't want to walk into town .On our first visit we had the Lamb Chops and T bone steak both dishes were so tasty and cooked to perfection , the plate of Lamb Chops were huge 6 Chops to be exact , we left feeling very satisfied. Because of the food and service we recieved we decided to go back a few days later . We had the Lasagne , and Sirloin Steak , the Sirloin was OK but overcooked we didn't complain as it was only slightly overcooked and still palatable .The Lasagne I expected to be home made , alas it wasn't it was one of those chilled ones you can purchase in most supermarkets , trust me I know as I,m a Chef , I didn't complain because it doesn't state on the menu "home made" but it's was a big disappointment, nevertheless this place is well worth a visit if your in the area , with mostly home made dishes with the exception of the Lasagne.

I had a nice Tuna steak, can't fault the food but was bothered by flies and mosquitos. No lunch service.Personally, I would really recomend the restaurant just down the hill Dona Leonor which didn't come up on Google but packed full with locals at lunch, I had their daily special 1/2L of wine all for just €10! Will be back.

Mooie simpel Portugees eethuis. Aardige bediening met heerlijke hoofdgerechten. Net ff weg van de drukte krijg je hier nog waar voor je geld. Qua gezelligheid met TL lichten laat het iets te wensen over maar de gerechten vergoeden een hoop.

This is a real hidden gem. Food was outstanding and service excellent. Tuck3d away above the old square it's definitely worth a visit. We had sirloin steak and lamb chops cooked to perfection and so flavoursome. Lovely wine, and plave had warm welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Went with 10 friends to night food amazing, service was first class,staff very friendly lovely place its a hidden gem please try this resturant if your in the area couldnt fault at all meals priced very reasonable will be going back before we go home thank you to joseph and staff for a amazing night

Just visited this evening, can’t imagine a better restaurant exists in albufeira than this, tiny place with a fantastic owner who also is the waiter, amazing food and wine and very good value for money, will be going back again!!
