I stayed at the door to ask if 5 people could eat, until the waiter invited me to sit down.
After 5 minutes sitting with my partner and 3 children with the menu in my hand, they told me in another language to leave there because they couldn't serve me because the table was for other people who were inside.
It wasn't my problem but I should leave
Since it wasn't going to be my problem if I didn't even sit down, I waited politely for them to sit me down.
Totally, I had to get up from the bar with all my shame as if I had done something wrong.

As good an Indian meal as I’ve had anywhere. Good beers, nice range of curries, excellent starters. Worth a trip off the strip. Try the madras. So tasty!

We ordered samosas and poppadoms for starters which came with three gorgeous homemade sauces and for mains we had three curries and some different naans. The curry was spicy and very flavourful, we especially liked the garlic naan and the presentation of the food was fantastic!
Passionate service and great value for money!

TL;DR - absolutely amazing food. By far one of, if not the best Indian meal I have had. Would definitely recommend.Upon arrival, personally, I had my doubts, as the restaurant doesn't look amazing from the outside. However the food was some of the best food we have ever had. The starters were all fantastic, with some nice sauces and chutneys to go with them, which we all tried and highly rated. However the mains were even better. Between the seven of us, we have probably eaten hundreds if not thousands of curries, and this was by far one of the best. I had the Lamb Karai, which I love, and this was a different take on the meal I was used to after going to other restaurants, but it was equally delicious and quite frankly, I want more! The service was good, I have to say the meals did take a bit longer than expected to be served, but it was definitely worth the wait. This restaurant will definitely go on the list of options for our last meal of our stay here, as we always choose our favourite restaurant to go to on the last night.

Small and cozy gem of a restaurant. I highly recommend the restaurant for a quiet meal for a small number of people. The Food price quality was excellent and was much better than I had expected given the garish infamous Albufeira strip is only five minutes walking distance away. The menu had an excellent choice of Indian food varying from the relatively mild (kormas) to the very spicy (vindaloos). We had Onion Bhajees and Samosa to start with accompanied by a Mango Lassi. Our eyes proved to be too big for our bellies when choosing the Main Course. We ordered Chicken Korma and Buttered Chicken with rice and two garlic nans only, to come to the conclusion afterwards with hindsight, that one shared main course with one rice and one nan would have been sufficient, after having enjoyed the starters. I ordered Cappuccino after the meal, which they didn’t have but was delighted that I followed the waiters advice to have a traditional Indian Masala tea instead. Both the waiter and waitress were very kind and helpful. All in all a really enjoyable evening and a great way to enjoy watching the, for Portugal very rare, torrential rain cascading down the windows and street outside. Tip: It is possible to park very close to the restaurant in the large Aldi garage almost directly opposite.
