“Small restaurant that was recommended to us, we didn't have a booking and staff were lovely and very accommodating, they were turning people away as it was so busy. This place is brilliant. Staff care, take pride in their service, the quality of the food is excellent too.

We had the Brazilian steak and the grilled sirloin. Both excellent. The sirloin was cooked to absolute perfection.

“Four years after our first visit we are still very impressed. My husband's pork cheek was amazing. I loved my fried squid and my 12 year old loved her carbonara. So sad it's our last night. The food.... simply fantastic, Eduardos wife does the cooking and it is first class. The meat was very tender. The home made dessert was out of this world.

“Coming down from Praceres, we find this churrasqueira restaurant. Typical Portuguese restaurant where we ate very well and at a more than acceptable price. Additionally, after telling the waiter my preference for superbock long beer glasses, he gave me a box of 6 glasses. Quite a detail!!! “Perfect spot for dinner with excellent service (English speaking) and great food. Most tourist places are too noisy for decent conversations. Pepper steak was about a 10-oz portion and so tender. The best steak ever. Ordered it medium rare. Could barely finish it. The chicken filet with mushroom sauce was delectable, also too much and took half as take-away. The sea bass is fresh and tasty, and guest was so stuffed eating it all. The fish filet special is breaded, not grilled. Be sure to ask server which you prefer. My favorite is the sardine pate and amazing olives. Their bread uses a rye starter for incredible texture. 5 thumbs up!

Parking: The street narrows so best to park up the hill for free parking by the municipal building. 10-minute leisurely pace up the hill.“

“Great small pub away from the chaos of town! Owner and barman are dry,funny and typically British,which we love. Went in a few times during our week away and the locals make it feel like home. Be warned he doesn't serve bread and butter if you are Americans ?????.“

“Today was a day out. Passing through Ferreiras, where I only knew Intermarche, I decided to go ahead because it was lunch time and maybe there was a bar.

We arrived at the roundabout and found some spaces. We decided on 20age, and my friends..... a surprise to be sure to repeat!

Very welcoming space with a terrace on the terrace, and lots of friendliness, where what prevails is perfection and culinary experience.

And don't be intimidated by the decoration theme, because by the time the food arrives in front of us, the correct presentation and the smell so good... mmmmmm... we feel like trying all the delicacies they make there. In addition to the daily dishes, many and varied snacks.

We started with some clams à bulhao duck, perfect and well served. That little sauce was enough to use up the rest of the bread until it was gone!

This was followed by some rice with razor clams. You can go to Sesimbra, to the north, and wherever you want... but come and try this SFF. Slight aroma of peppers, naughty rice and a generous amount of razor clams. Perfect!

The daughters went for alternatives, a spaghetti carbonara pasta, and a chicken bitoque.
Well served, generous dishes and seasoning on point!

It's not expensive and we all liked it!

Haaa I forgot, do you remember an egg pudding that our grandmother used to make? Here they know how to do it! Delicious!

“It was great being back at this beautiful restaurant again. We were warmly welcomed by Eduardo and his team. It was a lovely evening so we were able to sit on the terrace with a fantastic view of the sea. The ice cold beer was a welcomed relief from the heat and the food and service was up to its usual high standard. They serve the best Pulpo à Lagareiro which is my dish of choice. Can’t wait to be back next year and bring other members of our family who have not yet had the pleasure of dining hear.“

“We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Albufeira between Christmas and New Year. We had a fabulous lunch on both days although they didn't offer a childrens menu they were able to make a reduced portion for them. The service was excellent and so was the meal!“

“I love Greek food - having been to Greece a number of times, one thing I miss is the traditional food from Greek Tavernas.

OS Gregos didn't fulfil my desires, however, the food was good and the staff were really friendly.

Ordered Gyros, and while I was expecting it to come out with a Pitta - it came out as shredded chicken on a plate with Salad and Chips. It was nice, but not what I was expecting.

My son had Bream, and absolutely loved it! He's only 9 and having the head still attached didn't put him off at all, he ate every bite!“

“Everything was going well, until my wife went to buy an ice cream that didn't exist in the store for my niece (7 years old), when she came back they were literally kicked out (my wife and my 7 year old niece) from the space and I was left with a friend finishing the cheese cake.
Of course we went to drink coffee next door.
Fortunately there are other restaurants in the area.

“Nice, centrally located restaurant. Despite being on a busy street, it is extremely quiet in the air-conditioned interior or on the covered terrace. There are lots of seats.

The local dishes are very tasty and well sized. Starters or desserts are still suitable.

The staff is friendly and accommodating, service is quick and prompt. Special requests were implemented quickly and well.

There are no direct parking spaces, but on the surrounding streets.

All in all, absolutely recommended.“

Starting with the food: it was very tasty! I ordered garlic bread as a starter, which they did well with the cheese, and the flavor of the garlic in the bread was light and tasty. The pepperoni pizza was amazing! And the fresh ingredients.
The service: it was excellent, the servers were super friendly and attentive, they sent the food, drinks and dessert quickly.
And the environment: it has air conditioning so it has already won my heart and the background music is very pleasant.

“We decided to eat lunch before catching the bus back to Lisbon. When we’d arrived in Albufeira we’d noticed this small restaurant with a patio beside the bus drop off and pick up point and kept it in mind for later. Sal & Mel is hardly what would call a fine dining place. Its patio though by the bus pick up point was perfect for a light lunch before a long bus ride. As a bonus it had free WIFI which came in handy later pulling up our bus tickets on my phone. My wife ordered calamari and I decided for once to eat healthy and just went with the salad. I didn’t think it would be enough though so I added a plate of French fries to share. I was wrong the salad was enormous, probably enough for both of us. It was very fresh as well. We both enjoyed the large glasses of freshly squeezed orange juice. I enjoyed mine so much I ordered a second. The patio was fairly crowded with what looked like a mix of locals and other tourists. However, the service was fast and friendly. Overall it was a nice way to end our brief visit to Albufeira.“

“Lima is a small family run restaurant just near the Brejos/ Montechoro roundabout and near the new Intermarche Hypermarket. My family and friends have been patrons of this superb eatery for 19 years. Remarkable value down to earth meals. I particularly recommend the Seabass with potatoes and salad. But ask them to hold off on the amount of salt they tend to cook with. Also they have a lovely local white veno verde on tap ,- great fizzy taste. Recommended.

“The absolute best English breakfast in Albufeira! Catia is lovely, the service is great, and the prices are good. You can also get a jumbo white coffee (cappuccino) in a huge mug, and that only costs €2! We wouldn’t go anywhere else for breakfast now.“
