La patronne est une vraie commerçante qui sait accueillir les clients: donne la carte pour faire patienter, vous demande si vous voulez boireun verre, passe entre les tables pour voir si tout va bien. This is a lovely and peaceful little restaurant just hidden outside of the main strip. The staff were really friendly and didn't pressure us when we were slow to choose.
The fried squid starter was delicious and the portions were very generous. I'm not a whitebait fan but my partner said it was nice, and again the portions were generous.
The sea bass was beautifully cooked (Watch for bones of course) with some lovely potatoes and a side salad of onions, cucumber, croutons and tomato.
The Francesinha is a whole other world of food. Imagine sandwhiches on steroids (in a good way)... covered in cheese and soupy sauce. The other half loved it!
Our daughter wasn't too fussed on the ribs but they looked OK.
The desserts all looked delicious but we were too full unfortunately!
Really reasonable prices too!
Update: We came back again and I've got to say the 2nd time round was even better. The cod fish bites were divine but you do get 4 so its a big portion (not that we were complaining).
The swordfish was really tender and the beef kebab was really delicious. Honestly can't praise this place enough!

This place was by far one of my favorites, if not, my actual favorite!!! The food was delicious! I got the fish soup which was so good, I got the sea bass and that was just as good. I highly recommend this place as everything was good and the staff were super welcoming and accommodating!

Typical seafood and Algarve style squid are a must try! The seafood was very fresh and portion was big. Cheaper in comparison to the restaurants nearby.

Decided to sit outside this restaurant for a drink as we were shopping in old town. Bottled Sagres was 4euros a bottle when we paid bill. Twice what we are used to paying in Albufeira!!.

Après avoir lu les avis sur ce petit restaurant nous nous laissons tenter et optons pour une cataplana au poisson et fruits de mer. Quelle bonne idée c’était excellent et copieux nous nous sommes resservi 3 fois!!! 47€ mérités . Le riz au lait en dessert est également délicieux. Merci et surtout ne changez rien.
