We visited twice during our holiday and the food both times was superb. We stuck with the tapas menu on both visits so managed to try most dishes. All delicious. We sat outside with lovely views of the garden and sea views in the distance. Very relaxed atmosphere and attentive service. Highly recommended.

Mediocre food for the most part. We waited a long time for service despite it being quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful though. It’s a beautiful restaurant and setting just a shame the food isn’t special, just run of the mill. I’d recommend elsewhere.

We ate here based on a recommendation from a friend. It was my husband and I along with our 18yo son. We sat outside and were lucky enough to see a beautiful sunset while we ate. We started with some tapas. Octopus, carpaccio and something with cheese can’t recall the name of it but it was delish! No one in our family has food allergies but they asked about any allergies and they offer vegetarian and vegan options. Something that is not as common in Portugal as the US.
For our meals I got a chicken dish. My husband got fish and my son a steak. The chicken was probably the best chicken I’ve had in a long time. The flavors were out of this world. My son tasted a bite and said that he didn’t know chicken could taste like that! My husband said the fish was good and my son loved the steak.
The service was great as well. Very friendly and attentive. They did not rush us out but we did not wait long for our food. We had an affordable but good bottle of wine.
I would go back and would recommend you give this restaurant a try

maybe because we were around 50 people, so a lot of people at once... the food was disappointing. The salad buffet as a starter was very good, but the hot buffet was really not great. Tasteless fish, very dry breaded pork, so the price was too high for this quality.

We came from Lisbon to the Algarve on vacation and came across this restaurant where the cuisine and service is done with love and great detail. This meal was just perfect. From the reception, the atmosphere, the service, the drinks. The ceviche, chamussa and shrimp starters are divine, all with incredible detail, quality products and prepared by a superior chef. Thanks for the surprise. Great restaurant. Anyone who likes to eat well and understands a little food is a must to come here.
