The food was absolutely spectacular quality - probably helped by the fact I was on eof the few people in the restaurant so there was huge rush to get loads of dishes out to customers in time / everything was done with care. It was also my birthday so the waiter made a complimentary cocktail at the start of my meal as well which was a welcome surprise. The only deduction was because by the end of 3 courses, I was the only person left in the restaurant so there wasn't really an ambience at all - but I am aware I travelled in low season so maybe it is to be expected.

The food was amazing complements to the chef from my parents hometown in Napoli. He actually came out to check the quality of the dinner, I ensured that we would be back again in the near future. The service from Juan and Tatiana was superb right from the beginning all the way until the end when Juan walked us out. Throughout the meal they both always came to check if everything was going well. Very acomodating and friendly staff. The overall experience was 5 stars. The actual venue was very cozy and modern with comfortable seating which made us not want to leave.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Papermoon Restaurant, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The service was impeccable, and the food exceeded my expectations. The staff (especially Tatiana) went above and beyond by surprising me with a candle on my dessert and a heartfelt rendition of "Happy Birthday." I had the best time and would wholeheartedly recommend Papermoon for any special occasion. 5/5 stars!

Went there for my girlfriends birthday, I requested 2 glasses of champagne on arrival, which never came, just after the waiter came with a drinks menu, food was ok, nothing extremely amazing for the place, service was slow probably understaff, would be nice to see these kind of great spots, with the service they require.

Restaurant looks beautiful - nice view too and presents itself as something special. Unfortunately, the food and service falls short of the decor. Dry meat, rock hard potatoes, fishy tuna - not much flavor to the dishes. You have to ask for salt and pepper. And if you ask for mayonnaise you get frozen butter. Our tip; the pizzas are top notch. Nice takeout here. Leave the rest alone.

Poor service, food was sent back twice, took an hour and a half for my husband to receive his steak after it was over cooked to start, they then over cooked it some more and then did a fresh one which still wasn’t great. Poor service very slow! Stacked dirty plates next to our table. Won’t return and advise others not to aswell. Definitely shouldn’t be in a 5 star hotel. Had high expectations as it’s quite difficult to get booked in.

I can't believe that it's taken me so long to review this place. On the last day of the holiday we went for a family meal and this place was amazing. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the staff were so welcoming and friendly, our waitress was so entertaining. She was involved, took photos, and had conversations with us, and it added to the experience. The manager even came out and spent time with us. He used to own or manage a store over here in the UK in Selfridges several years ago. Unfortunately, we didn't get their names, but our waitress was this lovely young Portuguese black lady with short hair, and the manager was this tall, slim, dark-haired Portuguese man. They were both so warm and professional. I hope they see this because I plan on going back there in the future, and hopefully, they'll be there. On to the food. It was stunning. Rich in flavour, lovely presentation, and the taste was very good. The desserts are huge. They could easily pass for another meal but well worth it. They sat us right by the view of the sunset. It was amazing!! Lovely food, beautiful views, friendly staff. What more could you ask for? Oh yeah, the drinks were nice and strong as well. Definitely worth a visit!

Having visited this restaurant on three occasions in 2022 when it first opened, we returned this year with high expectations. We are pleased to see that these expectations were met and once again, we not only have a fantastic meal but also had first class service. Steak Tartare and Tuna Tartare were chosen as our respective starters are, neither of us were let down. We followed this with a pasta dish that is from the original restaurant in Italy over 40 years ago and sliced Seabass, which was both unusual and excellent. We finished with the home-made tiramisu and local tart tartan, which again were both first class if not a bit of too much on top of the earlier courses. All of this was rounded off with an excellent white Portuguese wine. We will be coming back again (in a few days time)!

We waited extra 25 minutes after our reservation time for a table on a busy day but no excuses for being so late. Service was slow. Sommelier was very helpful and energetic. Other wait staff seemed so busy. Food was okay but small portions. Service is so important and i am afraid it was poor here. Shame as the decor is nice. I would pass and won’t be coming back.
