The portions when eating, depending on what you order, could be a little more for the prices. Otherwise a nice hotel. Many of the employees speak German, which is very appreciative if someone doesn't have good English skills.

Incredible view, excellent service, but unfortunately... the two main courses were a disaster. Very dry, tasteless vegetables (spinach), both fish were okey-ish but also with little taste, huge piles of almonds on the sea bream, sauce was barely there and tasteless - such a shame because everything else was just great. But for the price the food has to be good.

The food and service at this hotel restaurant were superb. These surroundings are a little surprising and lowered our expectations. Happily everything was of top quality and we had a very enjoyable evening. Highly recommended.

We were half board at the Hotel Alisios. The staff were very attentive, Americo, Emanuel, Pedro, Paulo, Reuben, Josel (I think) and Angelo with his smart haircut. The food was well cooked to our order, well presented and delicious. Mmm Mmm so very good. Jose our Tui Rep advised when people staying on B&B status ask where is the best place to eat? He says here.

Living at the Alisios Hotel we had the opportunity to use his services many times. The menu offered may not be as tender as I expected, but I can say that what I ate was delicious and fresh. The staff is attentive and kind to the place

Guaranteed great experience! Romantic quite terrace directly on the sea front where you hear the waves and have a lovely view on the old city centre. We walked here in about 12 minutes. The food was delicious, we received a local amuse of small grilled fishes. The garlic mushrooms and the prawn cocktail with exotic fruit were a good start. The monkfish and the grilled giant tiger prawn an excellent finish. We skipped desert, because we were full. Our coffee and tea were accomplished by a nice glad of port on the house. Wonderful service by 4 gentlemen who were very sincere in making our experience memorable. The Sangria Espumante is definitely recommended as an aperitif. So look no further, you do not want to miss out on this experience!
