We ate the menu of the day which was served in very generous quantities. We paid €26 for two people and ate very well. The only drawback was that the service, although very attentive, took a little longer than usual. Recommended!
Fantastic food. It's worth getting away from Albufeira to come and have lunch here.

Very homemade food. We made two menus of the day, with desserts apart. To drink a jug of beer and 1/2L of wine.
You should be grateful to be able to have lunch on the outside terrace with the dog.

O Barril is a traditional Portuguese restaurant.
Very popular with local artisans (this is generally a very good signal). We eat simple, family cuisine there.
The staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs, even though there were 12 of us at the table ;-)
The daily menu offered is very affordable (updated list on Facebook) and the menu which fits on one page is also a good sign...
Ample parking is available and they serve quite late...
