We came across this hidden gem of a restaurant across the motorhome...does not look that great on the outside but oh boy GO IN! and try the food. Sr.Antonio and his wife (Fernanda) were very friendly and service was 10+. The food was delecious and made to perfection. We tried it for lunch and dinner unfortunately found this place the day before leaving had I found it earlier would have gone there for all our meals. We look forward to going there again soon in April 2025.

If youve ever wanted to get BBQd fish and meat in an unfinished field with a few outbuildings and a repurposed food truck, all across the street from a mobile home park, look no further than Restaurante Roulotte do Sr. Antonio!!
The fish comes in big portions, is very fresh and well seasoned and expertly cooked. The pork ribs were delicious and very well seasoned. The kids hot dog came (unexpectedly) with crushed up bits of potato chips (crisps) on top and tasty fries (chips) on the sideall for 5 euros. Put simply, the owner/grill master knows his way around a BBQ.
Depending on your tastes, however, he is a truly abysmal DJ. For the seeming eternity we were there (more on that later), we were largely subjected to YouTube videos of what appeared to be Russias knock-off version of the Eurovision Song Contest. It was so bad (borderline torture, honestly, that wouldnt have been out of place at Guantanamo Bay) that we couldnt stop laughing. Im giving the whole atmosphere 5 stars because of how unique it was; like dining in a very tasty episode of the Twilight Zone. But if you dont want a bit of adventure and exposure to some of the worst songs the internet can possibly serve up, this is NOT the place for you.
That is especially true because you wont be in and out quickly. The service is as slow as other reviewers suggest (read glacial), largely because the staff appears to be just the husband and wife team here; he behind the grill when not drinking quite a bit and cranking up the devils music, she in the food truck doing something unclear when not otherwise cleaning glassware and dancing overly attentively and with surprising gusto to the aforementioned video entertainment.
Do I regret going? Absolutely not. Would I ever go back? Not in a million years, except for takeout.

Very delicious food, the Francesinha spectacular Peculiar place, a shop in the middle of the field with a caravan-kitchen and a grill that fills you with the smell of its smoke. They take a long time although the kitchen lady doesn't stop for a second. They take time to ask, to serve to collect... Good thing they don't close soon

Disastrous, if you go, don't be in a hurry, almost an hour to eat, the food is average, a chicken kebab and a scarce bifaba. They go like headless chickens without knowing what they have to serve or who, don't be in a hurry to pay either, better get up and pay there.

I have had nearly 10 million views on my reviews I'm a level 8 Google guide and I only give real truthful reviews.
Cash only is the first thing but there is an ATM a short walk down the road.
What a beautiful experience on the Algarve. I researched restaurants in my area on Google and found this very traditional outdoor restaurant ran by a couple with very charming characters.
I ordered a beer at the counter to speed up getting a drink and Sr. Antonio cracked the lid off my beer and it landed on a table full of people. That's the type of service I like!! ???
The service is slow but thorough the food amazing and cooked with passion and the atmosphere and charm of the place is perfect for a relaxed evening meal.
My advice is get there early as they do get busy and they take their time to prepare each dish so it can take time but watching the pair work together is part of the atmosphere and charm of the place.
They have a large drinks selection and the food is fresh (my salmon steak was perfectly seasoned with salt and lemon) and the vibe of the people waiting eating and enjoying themselves is what this restaurant is about.
Forget the local restaurants with confusing menus that don't give you the price they show. This place is real with real prices ran by real people.

Auf den ersten Blick knnte man dran vorbei laufen! Da stehen direkt an der Durchgangsstrae ein paar Tische unter Bumen. Aber dann ist es richtig nett. Das Essen (gegrillter Lachs) war exzellent und reichlich, das Inhaberehepaar ist sehr nett. Die Preise sind der Qualitt und Menge absolut angemessen. Es war ein netter und lustiger Abend!

The place from the outside is ugly: it looks like a place for tourists. However, the food was delicious. The chicken and potatoes were delicious. Also the prices are good for the quality of the food.
You should know that they do not accept cards.
The only really negative point is that the general hygiene of the place is bad: nothing is particularly clean and the cloth with which the owner cleans the tables smelled rotten from a distance.
