I was completed unimpressed by Albufeira. (Cancun of Algarve) but… Sal Rosa is an absolute gem. Vibes, atmosphere, music and service are a 10/10. Every waiter/waitress was helpful and kind. Alcohol selection was top notch. If you are in Albufeira, definitely go and have a few drinks.

Great place with really tasty cocktails. The style of the bar is beautiful, and it looks like a normal bar should.
I was alone and women tells me to sit at the bar, “it is only one option”. I was exhausted and ask a waiter to seat on the table, because there were a lot of free tables. He gives me the place near the toilet.
As for me, it is really strange policy for people who are alone. Like “we are happy to see the couples and companies, please, enjoy our view”, but when you are alone you are a piece of thrash, “please take the worst place”. To be clear, this incident made me very sad for the whole evening.
Sal Rosa is perhaps the ideal representation of an upscale yet intimately hygge cocktail bar. The decor is such that one can tell they are in a refined establishment, although all the aspects of elitism and arrogance have been left at the door you might say.
In addition, each and every person my party and I interacted with was genuinely warm and receptive. And little things such as asking for a beverage recommendation was followed by questions about our personal tastes and preferences so as to formulate a meaningful suggestion rather than an off the cuff one.
And of course the drinks themselves were delicious, creative, and complemented the entire space to say the very least. To phrase it another way, there’s something truly special about enjoying a spiced Japanese whiskey while overlooking the beaches of Praia do Peneco while the Atlantic ocean’s gentle waves lap against the shores.

Potentially some of the best service I have had in Portugal, the staff were attentive to every detail; I cannot fault them on that. My cocktail was delicious and the view was as good as it looks online.
With that said, the prices are a bit steep for the regular cocktails e.g. Espresso Martini, Margarita Etc. were €14. But I think the prices are ok for their house own cocktails, they were unique.
Give it a go, probably the only quiet bar in Albufeira ?.
