Viva La Ciccia - Steakhouse & Pasta

The desire is to give one star. The two stars are due to the friendliness of the people.
The service is terrible and they started by forgetting about us. The menu was given to us 25 minutes after we arrived. In the end, they thanked us for our patience, justifying the delay with the fact that employees were absent that day.
As for the food, I summarize the comments about my steak, which was ordered medium rare and arrived well done. The puree was a disgrace.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Worst restaurant and service I’ve ever experienced in my life! No waiter assigned to a table. Then after 20 minutes we get menus and had to call over a waiter to take our order but then she says “I only take drink orders” which is an absolute embarrassment! The waiter who takes “food orders” then labours his way over and takes our order. I had to ask for water 3 times of 3 different waiters and it came out 30 minutes later. Then we ask for dessert menus and it takes 20 minutes for dear menus. To add insult injury we get the bill and then no one comes with a card machine for 20 minutes and we had to go in and pay for this clownshow. Worst resteraunt experience in my entire life and I don’t say that lightly!! Food was also a rip off and was very poor!! I cannot sum up how bad this place was! I genuinely don’t think it deserved a single cent! You couldn’t pay me enough to eat here again! WHAT AN EMBARRASSMENT!!!! You should go if you want to see a comedy on how a bunch of clowns try to run a restaurant because it’s comically bad!!!

The food here was top notch, steaks cooked to perfection, full of flavour and not ridiculously priced.

That being said, it took about an hour for our order to be taken, and the couple next to us were also visibly getting fed up with their wait.

When the service did finally come it was polite and professional, but the woman did say that whoever seated us should be taking our orders but that she would cover it. Perhaps just having staff cover eachother when it's busy or they're falling behind would help with that.

The food was worth the wait, but ideally I wouldn't be waiting that long without even a follow up for more drinks.

The setting is beautiful, a little glass box surrounded by a pool, I recommend sitting inside.

Het eten was geweldig. Zijn hier twee keer geweest in onze vakantie om de 2e keer een keer goed los te gaan met dure steaks die erg lekker waren.

We had lunch here and shared a platter for two. The meat was wonderfully tender and grilled to perfection. The accompanying salad was also delicious.
Our children chose something from the children's menu. Portion was like for an adult. The burger was so big it was difficult to eat. But also very tasty.
Service was friendly.
The only drawback was the somewhat loud music.
We reserved the table online. That worked well.
On Friday evenings a DJ plays. Under the motto: Beats & Meats

I'm rarely really enthusiastic, but the steakhouse really surprised me in a very positive way. Really delicious food (mix grill for 2 people). Tender meat and cooked to perfection. Really unbeatable for the price. Children's portions are really large and also delicious. Also the best value for money for just €7.50 per child. Unfortunately, service was only halfway friendly and unfortunately very inattentive. There is still room for improvement. Nice atmosphere, unfortunately the music is a bit loud. We were here at lunchtime, next time we'll try it in the evening. The atmosphere should be even nicer. Overall, a very clear recommendation.
