The actual restaurant was closed for refurbishing and they sent us to Petiscaria Ideal 2 doors down. I had been to this place many years ago and remember really enjoying it. Last night was a bit different. Foodwise had some hits and misses, the Camarão Ideal was a winner, and the Prego as well, everything else was okay. Stopping for some respite from the blazing sun on the bicycles this was an inspiring occasion. Lovely cold beer and a jarro of vinho branca complemented the best grilled fish we had in Portugal. Very helpful and friendly staff (despite the language barrier) and even an 'Offerta" of a delicious type of lemon meringue cake from the friendly senora sitting at the table next to us. It doesn't get better than this
