We stumbled upon this jewel of a restaurant looking for Piri-piri (chargrilled chicken) near me, and boy do I recommend that if you’re visiting or a local to give Churrasco d’Avo a visit.I assume he’s a 1 man band, so be patient. He works rather efficient, so you shouldn’t have to wait long. I do recommend that you check his hours online before making the drive.Parking seems to be plentiful in the area, so no need to fret.Lastly, the location can be tricky if you’re not paying attention. The take out only restaurant is located in a lemon and orange tree garden, roughly 30 meters from the traffic circle. The gentleman didn’t speak English, but we worked together and everything worked out perfectly.Thank you sir!

BEST chicken I had in Portugal. And I have eaten a LOT of Franggo! Very kind staff too, nice energy. The meat was succulent, tasty, not super salty (like many roast chicken here is), and cooked absolutely to perfection. I ate the whole thing. Will be going back. Well packaged too.
