The dishes are fresh and fantastic
Prices are acceptable and vary, obviously, depending on choices
I didn't like the fact that when it comes to wines, they open new bottles without asking first, that is, they assume that the customer always accepts. At the end of the meal there is wine left over that is not consumed and such, it penalizes the final cost, unnecessarily,
The atmosphere is very good, although sometimes the acoustics are not good and the noise from other tables does not allow us to chat with our dining partners.

Traditional Portuguese cuisine, above average for this price range but over time it has lost its consistency in quality, that is: there are days when you eat well, others not so much, I don't know why but it's a shame. The environment sometimes becomes very noisy, the televisions spread across the two rooms don't help either. The staff are friendly and I think there is no reason to complain about the service. A few days ago I ordered cod à lagareiro but the cod meat was pink, I was told it was because it was undercooked! Now everyone knows that the color of cod is white or slightly yellowish whether it is raw or cooked. I think it would be some 2nd or 3rd category fish to replace cod. I was very disappointed because these types of things ruin a restaurant's name. I think that out of consideration for Ponto Verde's history and its clientele, these types of tricks should be banned completely, but that will be the owner's responsibility, I hope he reads this. Update: didn't read it! and this restaurant is getting worse and worse! I went back there yesterday for dinner, ordered grilled squid, they had the nerve to bring me a portion left over from lunch, they couldn't be eaten because they were hard and dried out. A sadness. I don't intend to go back.

We were a large group with children. The men ate grilled goat and it was very good and the boys had well-served and good Alentejo-style pork, we women varied between the very tasty duck with orange, the very tender octopus à lagareiro and the secrets, a large portion just for one person. . The children ate grilled steak, and this was the point they should have said, even though we questioned it more than once, the steaks are huge, 1 steak would have been enough for 2 children, only 1 of them ate the whole steak, they were very tender and very tasty.

We ate “Cabrito assado no forno”. This dish is DELICIOUS! It is accompanied by potatoes, sweet potatoes and spinach. The sautéed vegetables are very well cooked. As soon as the restaurant is open again, we will invite our children so that they can discover it. There is a nice terrace.

Very friendly staff, and very good food. We ordered roast lamb which is enough for 2, squid kebab and pork loin with crumbs, all fantastic. Price in line with the quality of the food. As the space is large, there is of course some noise. Coming back without a doubt.
