I left the restaurant with mixed feelings, on the one hand the very good preparation of Angolan cuisine. Chicken Muamba with Okra is very tasty in a consistent sauce and accompanied by White Corn Pirão and Cassava Funge, palatable and with a good texture. There was also an Angolan Style Cabidela with Okra and Funge, a very vinegary Cabidela. The doses are in generous quantities. The bread is good, as are the snacks, cheese and olives. For dessert, there’s also a good Delicious Puff Pastry with Egg Jam. The bad thing was the long waiting time, around 1h15 waiting for the food without prior warning from employees or management that it would be a dish that could take a long time, what they said after some expression of displeasure on our part was that they had few burners on the stove. A dish considered the house specialty and really well prepared cannot take more than 1 hour to arrive. It is a shame!

2pm on Sunday, restaurant half empty. We announced our presence and waited for the table. With some delay, they sat us down and waited for the letter… and we waited. And we had to ask for it after a while, as apparently no one else saw us. Expectations were already low when they announced that there was no longer any Muamba (which we had in mind). I still would have had the opportunity to try the Cozido à Portuguesa buffet, but I thought it was inappropriate for this time of year. But more inappropriate was the service (or lack thereof). Hopefully try again one day
