“This restaurant is just incredible! The team is super friendly, the restaurant is super cool to contrast with the very hot days outside. The food is excellent! It's a restaurant serving typical Portuguese food, but the flavor is as if you were eating grandma's food! I only ate the best Portuguese meat, something I hadn't eaten in many years. I recommend everyone who is nearby to come here and have a meal.
Parking is short, but it's worth it!“

“Excellent food! I cant brag enough about the food here. Hats of for the chef. We had the most delicious foods here from our 5 days road trip to the south. Been Portimao, Albufeira, Faro and many more. This is the best in taste, quality, portions(big) and also the service was good. The restaurant is not in the main city but quite worth the stop.We had soup of the day, cow cheeks, fresh fish, alentejano bread and side dishes like rice cooked in broth. Will def come back again in the future ?Enough said! Go there and check it out??.“

“Traditional restaurant serving Portuguese cuisine. It's a local restaurant visited by the locals. The food was very tasty with the right seasoning. The portions are huge. I had an extremely tasty 'cação' soup with loads of fish in it. The service is quite slow, we did wait a bit till we finally had our food. The staff was very friendly.
Highly recommended
Kid-friendliness: Suitable for kids.“

“The atmosphere in the room we stayed in was pleasant and peaceful, but it was very stuffy. The service was very friendly.
I ate Fried Choco with Coriander Açorda and I liked it. The sausage was great, but the cuttlefish had some very gristly pieces; those that were tender were good.
For dessert I ordered the Honey and Walnut Cake and I really liked it; very different, very tasty.
Parking: There is a free car park next door.“

“Nice place with a terrace to be with family and friends. The dishes are well served and, as a rule, some dishes are easily enough for 2. The menu is small, but the food is of good quality, with reasonable prices - between €9.5 and €15/dish.“

“It is worth highlighting the friendliness and excellent service of the people.
A rustic, fresh and welcoming space.
The food is tasty, with a commendable presentation and in portions that everyone will like. The homemade desserts sold out in an instant as they were so appetizing, we were still able to taste the chocolate and mango mousse that reminded us of our grandmothers' desserts.
Without a doubt an excellent restaurant to recommend.“

“Very picturesque and pleasant space in the historic area of Alcácer do Sal. With some very tasty snacks to enjoy on a sunny afternoon... We ate a few pieces of black pork paio, some olives and some Alentejo cracklings with a toasted bread roll to open the appetite and then we tried some Bulhão Pato clams which were delicious and super well seasoned (we are to blame for having to repeat the dose of toast, because it is impossible to remain indifferent to the sauce ?). We also ordered the tubers with eggs which were equally good (and the eggs were very soft) and the fried cuttlefish with coriander which was also very tasty! All accompanied by the house white wine (from the Alcácer area) very fresh and with a pleasant taste! For desserts, there wasn't much choice, just pine nut tart and chocolate cake with egg jam and mousse topping... We tried both and, although nothing special, they were good... Experience to repeat!“
“Excellent food, probably the best fried cuttlefish we've eaten in recent years. Very generous doses. Dish of the day includes soup, main dish, coffee, drink and dessert for 12 euros. Efficient and friendly service. We were passing through and got in by luck but we will come back. They also do take away at a very acceptable price.“

“Amazing restaurant, yes the staff don't speak other languages but they really did try to give us a wonderful evening. I emailed them in advance to arrange the reservation using Google translate, not a problem. Arrived on time and was seated promptly. We ordered a selection of starters, octopus, hare, cheese, fried sausage and marinaded carrot followed by the prawn and cuttlefish rice for main. Everything was delicious. The lady serving us I assume was the owner brought us a pine nut covered tart and poured Moscatel over the top along with a measure each for our coffee. Sublime!!!! Start to finish perfect. A bottle of delightful Herdade dos Grous to wash it all down and the bill came in at 74 Euros! Yes outside Comporta but definitely worth an email to reserve a table. Thank you so much for a lovely memory :)“

“The food is delicious, the typical Portuguese meals especially. The curry was tasty but not at same level.
Service is somewhat slow, but people are very nice and the room was full, so it was expected.
Price was a pleasant surprise for this level of food quality!
Definitely recommend, but stick to portuguese typical dishes.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“A fantastic find. A typical local restaurant without pretension or tourist prices. The food was freshly prepared and the ‘short’ wait reflected the cooking time. Don’t be put off by the owners initial demeanour; once we got through her paucity of English and our total absence of Portuguese, she relaxed and we were royally treated. An off the beat hidden gem for lunch.“

“Great.
They allowed my dogs on the terrace.
For our meal we opted for monkfish rice and turkey bites. Great.
Repeating.
It's just a shame about the excess heat that was felt. Fortunately there was some draft.“
“Right in between the meat and fish markets, namely the two hottest spots in Olhão, it is the perfect place to sit down, have break and a grab a bite. They serve really good fish appetisers and huge sandwiches with tuna, shrimps or salmon at a very cheap price and in big portions. I liked everything, but the tuna salad, which I think was just canned tuna. It takes time to be served, even in relatively chilled autumn weekdays. But take it as part of the slow food experience…“

“We ate very well. Good value for money. They treated us kindly even though we had not booked, we had to eat on the terrace and we were hot despite the air conditioning they put on for us. The rice lingueira (with razor clams, prawns and clams) is delicious although the prawns were dry. We really liked the bacalhau at home, fried with freshly made fries“

“I came to have lunch with my family. The dogfish soup and fried cuttlefish were very good. The prawn salad was good in general, however, the prawns were not properly cleaned, meaning they still had their intestines in them. I had to remove it from each shrimp and place it on the edge of the plate. Other than that, nothing else to point out.“

“Wonderful ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Simply divine, the best razor clam rice I've ever eaten (and my husband says the rice I make is one of the best) because Silvina's superooooouuuu is divine ??????
the eels to accompany the rice is a wonderful complement
I liked everything, I went for the first time thanks to the good recommendations and it's really worth the 1 hour trip
I even had the privilege of having an accordionist play there
Just talking about it makes my mouth water????
I booked the day before, the space is nice and they also have parking.“

“Very good, fresh food and kindness from the owners' son.
It's a very simple restaurant but the food is very good, especially the eels.
As for the price of the bill, I thought it was a little high for the place... but it's worth it for the food...
Parking: Parking at the door for around 10 cars.“

“We were having lunch yesterday with some foreign friends and the choice couldn't have been better.
Typical tavern with homemade food and very well prepared.
The interior room has a decoration typical of a traditional tavern, which gives it a welcoming atmosphere that, together with the service always carried out with great friendliness and attention to the customer, gives a familiar touch to the experience.
The razor clam rice is simply the best I've ever eaten.
The veal chop and spare ribs were also on point, both in terms of seasoning and preparation.
The desserts were homemade, with special emphasis on the pine nut.
In the end, I had the opportunity to try the homemade pennyroyal liqueur.
Kid-friendliness: The environment is family-friendly, which is suitable for children.
Wheelchair accessibility: The terrace is wheelchair accessible.“

“A charming place for lunch or dinner. It is quite cozy, there is a terrace under an umbrella, a quiet area, you can even hear the fish splashing in the river ?
It was deliciously prepared and in large portions!
Good service and very nice staff!“

“Excellent food, attentive staff and good prices. I went in a hurry because I was traveling, it seemed like something very simple, but the quality of the lunch was fantastic.
Parking: Restaurant's own parking lot, but small. Fills quickly“
