I had an argument with my wife because of her decision of have a meal on this place, i was influenced by the humble aspect of the place i have to admit. The thing is that this is the best way to understand Portugal and all their gastronomy. What a delicious home cook OH MY GOD. Please come here and enjoy PORTUGAL. The place was buzzing, everyone was friendly, food was really good and generousportions. My partner had roast chicken (soft and juicy) with peri peri and great chips. We had a salad. I had fish fillets with prawns in a white sauce with mashed potatoes and it was very good. Very clean. Nice wine. Overall a lovely experience and full of locals and families. Thankyou to all the staff.

We found the place by chance when we returned from Monsanto. It was already lunch time and all the places were full. They found us a place, making us wait very little. The food is delicious. A spectacular roast chicken and finger-licking desserts. Totally recommended if you pass through the area at a very affordable price.

Simple place with excellent *homemade food*.We made an unusual order and they kindly served us a wonderful *mushroom omelette* accompanied by a salad, as well as a delicious feijoada.Very friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. We recommend it and we will definitely come back ??

I was careful to call and ask if it was necessary to reserve a table for 1 person. I was sympathetically answered no.I walk in, I'm ignored. I ask if it is possible to have dinner, to which they answer in a detached way that yes, but that I will have to wait. I wait, and then ask if I can sit at one of the tables to which I am told “Yes, wait and go, so…”. I ask if it's going to take too long, and I'm told that you have to serve two large tables before and only after that you serve me. Understandable, but rude and impolite. Bad experience and bad service.I left, obviously.
The chicken was tasty and the service was quick.
