We both had the prawns which were very good. It was a lot of work to remove the head and poop line. My husband also has the vegetable soup which he enjoyed and we finished with the pastel de nata which was the best we’ve had. Amazing. The vibe in the restaurant was rustic. We would recommend.

Wasn’t overly impressed. It was expensive and portion sizes were small compared to other places. Weirdly came up as KFC on my credit card too!

Such a gem among so many restaurants. Away from the crowds on top of a hill nestled between a neighborhood. The food is delicious, the service attentive and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. We couldn’t ask for more.

A small restaurant that looks rather inconspicuous from the outside. Inside it is very well maintained and nicely decorated. There are delicious pasta and fish dishes. Prices are normal. Good wines.

Awsome address, if you want to taste some good local home cooked meal. A must.
Great to find a restaurant away from the crowds with delicious food. The tomato salad was excellent, as were the fish of the day and lamb chops.

Husband and wife cook your meal to order. Super fresh and delicious. The king and tiger prawns are so good with the crispy garlic and herbs. Come here, get wine, relax and enjoy.

Lovely restaurant and staff
Excellent food and friendly, authentic service. We are tourists but appreciated that this gem did not seem tourist-centric.

We were given big helpings of delicious food at very reasonable prices, with a view over the rooftops. We enjoyed it so much, we went back for lunch the next day. Some reviews are critical of the waiter; we thought at first that he was not very welcoming, but he relaxed with us and became quite chatty. So give him a smile.
This restaurant did not look like much from the street, but I noticed that it had won a prize, so we decided to try our luck. We arrived at 12 noon and were lucky enough to be seated on the balcony (only 3 tables, only 2 people per table) overlooking the town and countryside beyond. The house wine was a pleasant surprise, the bread was fresh and warm, and the tomato/cheese salad with mint was spectacular! So fresh. I ordered the Bacalhau à Braz, which I truly enjoyed but could not finish, and my husband ordered the Medalhões de Novilho c/Molho de Natas, served which a rich port cream sauce that was spectacular! Unfortunately, we had eaten too much to try their desserts. Recommend without hesitation.
