After some recommendations we decided to visit the António Padeiro Restaurant and it is confirmed, high quality food and friendly staff, it undoubtedly deserved a chef of the same level. Always looking bad and "hiding" behind the counter. It was a dinner with friends, relaxed and unhurried, we were never told that we were running out of time, but at the end of dinner and desserts when we ordered coffee, we were told that the machine was already clean and they were not going to serve coffee. Shameful to say the least, this had never happened anywhere. But they shouldn't make reservations for 9:30 p.m., when everything is always packed afterward and they just want to see the customers out. We only had to pay €63 per person, the amount was not in question as we were satisfied. It ended disastrously, without coffee and after receiving it we left without a thank you or good night. I'm unlikely to go back, but there's always time to have a competent head waiter who can dignify the restaurant's good name.

They accept reservations at 9:30 pm, suggested by them and a person arrives, in addition to being greeted by a rude and grumpy chef, they immediately say that the kitchen closes at 10 pm and that the cooks are super tired and working since 6 am in the morning, as if the customer was to blame for the owners of the sub restaurant loading the employees' schedule. The food is good, without a doubt, top decoration, but in my point of view, politeness takes precedence over everything else and I have to give the most negative evaluation after being received by such a person.

I had a perfect experience! From the bread to the main but not least the amazing desserts brought in a tray to choose instinctively from a remarkable choice of great quality (pretty unmatched to my knowledge). But I shall not leave unmentioned the quality of the main, for it was one of the 2 best pork dishes I had experienced and not just because the meat was fantastically cooked but also every fork of rice that came with it was a pleasure to taste. I had to go a second day and so I did, this time the codfish kept the quality! On top of all the service is super professional coordinated by radio and incredibly fast. Go no where else first, it is the best to date!
