Unmissable.

Total lack of friendliness and kindness in the service (employee with a "freighty" look, without eye contact, "throwing" the cup of coffee onto the counter and the change into my hand and without even a "Thank you" at any point service!).
Good but not exceptional sweets. Quality far below the exorbitant price charged.

The pastries are very sweet and fatty. Far from the finesse we expected. The muffins are identical to those you buy in supermarkets. Only the terrace, ideally located opposite the cathedral, justifies the price.
This place offers some of Portugal’s best traditional pasteries. It’s a must when visiting the Monastary but is a destination of its own.

All the sweets look absolutely incredible, the difficult part is choosing what to bring because they are not very cheap and you need to be strategic when choosing.
Parking: Few places and the surrounding are very narrow roads

Delicious local sweets.
Wheelchair accessibility: Access possible for disabled people. Gentle descent and options to choose from.

The conventual sweets taste good but are nothing special. The prices are stupidly high. They have a strange password system and consumers themselves have to take their orders to the terrace.
The conventual sweets are excellent. The space itself did not live up to expectations. The pastry shop is very small, there are always a lot of people, which makes it difficult to see the windows and the sweets, especially when visiting for the first time, which means taking some time to look and choose the delicacies. It is also very difficult to move around inside the pastry shop with a very narrow corridor between the counter and the few tables inside. There is no table service but there is a terrace. The service is friendly as well. Prices are high.

If you like sugar, this is the place to go.
Too sweet and rather expensive due to the 1st national prizes in convent dessert competitions.
Terrace with an incredible view of the Monastery and for that alone, in addition to the excellent coffee they serve, it is worth stopping there.
Carpe Diem.
We found the prices a bit expensive. The lemon tart was delicious.
I always love going to this bakery. It's a shame to have been served by an ill-disposed and uneducated Brazilian.
