vintage style place with elegant dishes, in my opinion a little expensive in relation to the quantity. recommended if you like strong flavors, it's hard to eat soft. very good goat cheese croquette and fig jam. small but cozy place.

The best thing about the place is the location, on a narrow street, we ate on the terrace looking at the Monastery from the side. We did not like the food, very ordinary: the salad with little green and too many croitons, the chorizo was hard, the guacamole did not seem homemade and the vegetables with farinha were a tasteless pasta. I don't understand the 4.5 in the reviews.

Small and intimate place, according to the waiters' suggestion, there's no mistake as they will prioritize the best dishes of the day, there is no parking, the restaurant is in a small alley in front of the Monastery.

From the welcoming to the service time through tasting . This is the perfect place to come , enjoy, and relax with kindness and a lovely atmosphere . I do recommend it 5 stars . Only negative point ( pointed out at the check out ) hamburger would have been even more enjoyable hotter . There is no rush and no pressure from the employee, neither from the owner ( a lovely lady who does speak English French and Portuguese ) for taking orders . You pay at the till .

What a treat! Not located on the main plaza, so glad we decided to walk up the side street!The food was wonderful, started with bread and olives, pitcher of sangria main course was wrapped pork with bacon baked in apples and rice with walnuts and raisins and fries wonderful and we had steak with egg and bay leaf and garlic and more fries it was also yummy. We couldn’t eat it all, so needless to say we didn’t get desert, sad because it looked wonderful ended with 2 coffeesWhat a fantastic fine service was over the top by all. Thank You
