Last minute we decoded to sleep near the airport, after 3 weeks Portugal. We arrived here, by chance. I must say i had no expectations at all, but this place was one of the best experiences. Very nice honest people. They love their work. Good food. Honest, home made. Not gastronomic, but perfect for what we needed that moment with 3 very tired hungry kids. The woman who served us was realy pro active, friendly, efficient. I recommend this address if you are in this neighbourhood. We ate inside. At 22h15.. ?

One of my favorite restaurants I discovered in Portugal. Ran by a super cool husband and wife team. Very authentic elevated Portuguese style cuisine and tapas, you can snack or enjoy a full meal. I could chill here for hours and just enjoy the food and vibes. I went more than once and will definitely return. If you find yourself in Alcochete please give it a try!

Not to flashy on the outside, but with a nice and surprising decor inside, this restaurant turn out to be a good choice. I notice it while I was surrounding the municipality garden trying to find a place to park. Portuguese food, flavoured, and well presented but not in a gourmet pretentious way, which I think is must better for a real local experience. I love comfort food! Nice staff, attentive and kind and you don't have to wait an eternity for your meal to come. So, if you're passing by Alcochete, make a stop, enjoy the river view and try it. ?

Fantastic little place, on our first night staying in Portugal we popped onto Google and found this place as an option, we arrived late and there was only one waitress managing the place at the time, she looked super busy and we had to wait a little while for our food but it was certainly worth the wait. I had the prawn rice and my partner had the scrambled eggs and cod, both were fabulous. Given the stress the waitress was under and even though she was being shouted at by the chef she was SUPER friendly and welcoming. Worth a visit for sure and if we’re in the area again we will be back. If the chef gets to read this; give your staff a break, they are fantastic
