Some of the best food in Portugal! Friendly "down to earth" environment but wow, what meat! And hand-cut potatoes, not frozen. Interesting wine from the area, negligible cost for the quality and quality of food. Then the manager was fantastic, friendly and professional. We highly recommend, not for "tironi" but for people who appreciate the real Portugal!

I arrived at the restaurant around 2pm on a Saturday for lunch, 2 people.I walked in, looked, 2 tables were occupied. The two employees who were there walked from one side to the other like 'giddy cockroaches'.I waited about 5 minutes until someone deigned to tell me where I could sit.After being led to the table by one of the employees, the second employee came to ask if we were going to have lunch, to which we replied yes.Answer: Oh, this is complicated, I have a table of 4 people in front of you.AND? I ask to my buttons.The person who was with me then suggested that we leave and that's what we did.While we were waiting for the table there was a Mr. at the counter waiting for the meat left over from his meal, which was on a platter on the counter, to be placed in a box. Just looking at this dish...Jasus!!!! It was just flies taking over Mr.Anyway...An impression of a great lack of hygiene and professionalism.Place never to return.

A well-ventilated place, where you can eat very well, an obligatory stop for anyone passing through the IC2 (old national road)
Home-cooked meals, I highly recommend the bitoque and picanha, always excellent meat on display and grilled to order.
Fast service and always well accompanied by the friendliness and helpfulness of Mr. Hilário (owner of the restaurant)
A great place for groups as it has a room for that purpose.
