One of the best meals we’ve ever had. We had the special with lobster, shrimp, fish, and more. It was incredibly good! Ask for some rice to join veggies on the side - it completes the meal! Service was phenomenal. View is stunning. 10 out of 10!
This is one of our go to places when visiting. Everything is so fresh and the staff are excellent. The quality of products is superb.
Fantastic experience with this local famous restaurant. They have an amazing choice of fresh seafood and what size ! Our lobster weighted 1.8kg! Garlic prawns, tuna tataki with truffle oil, grilled squids, everything was perfect. A special thank you to the woman who served us called Sheyne (?). She was so much paying attention to all details. But rest of the team was also nice. We highly recommend!
Wow, wow, and WOW! Was recommended this restaurant at this location from a local including what to eat and it did NOT disappoint!! Started with the barnacles, which taste like the ocean exploding in your mouth, along with some shrimp (may have been tiger shrimp?) that you eat it all including the head. Also had some clams in garlic oil. These three items were very fresh and beyond delicious. We followed that up with the seafood rice, which to be fair, can compete with any seafood dish on any menu, anywhere. Highly recommend you give these items a try!!! The service was also spectacular. Be sure you choose the location in the market!
If you look for some fresh and we'll served fish, this is your restaurant. I've tried many but this is for sure the best. Good service, excellent fish and shells, in an authentic place near the fish market.
Not worth a single star. Rude staff who didn't even acknowledge us when we walked in. We literally stood there for 10 minutes without anyone asking if we would like a table. They weren't busy and there were plenty of people to help. Being in the hospitality indusrry, I'm sensitive and understanding to the challenges presented, but this was pure rudeness. There are plenty of other good and friendly places to eat in the area who are more than happy to have you as their guest. Don't waste your money.
Went for dinner with friends friday the 14th, me and 3 other people got food poisoning from the seafood and I have been feeling horrible all week, Do not recommend.
This place is exactly the place to go to have special fish and seafood in a seaside village. Cascais is a gemand this simple but special restaurant is a "must go"! You can choose the fresh fish from the bench and they cook it for you the way you prefer. Otherwise you can pick some local recipes from the menu. The tables are simple and the restaurant doesn't pretend to be classy but fish is fresh and they are kind and friendly. So, all in all, this was a truly special dinner and we highly recommend you to go if you like fresh fish and seafood. The crab was probably the most delicious we ever had, worldwide...
Great atmosphere, where you can enjoy the moment learning and tasting lots of recipes with family or friends.
Vegetarian options: Very diverse options of vegetarian food!
Kid-friendliness: The place it self is very educational where children or even adults should go and try!

We recently had lunch at Marisco na Praca which is housed in the market itself. Apart from the menu, the best experience is to go to the display and choose what entices you! We ordered Portuguese oysters, Mussels marinières, Gambas sautéed in garlic butter and pan roasted salted codfish or Bacalhau. The food was very good and served timely. We had a nice bottle of Catarina, a local white wine which was perfect with our meal.

"I had a great lunch experience at this seafood restaurant. The location is lovely and the selection of seafood is impressive. Prices are moderate and the view of the sea is beautiful if you choose to sit outside. My only suggestion would be to make a reservation or be prepared to wait as it can get quite crowded."
The best people and the best service! Cascais is lucky to have FoodLab.

Place where all the food fantasies and desires are coming true. Be it a thematic dinner or a show cooking - atmosphere is friendly and educational. Great to take your whole family or friends and learn cooking together. Absolute gem.
Brilliant service stunning seafood. Our second visit and the food was better than our first visit. David and the rest of the team were attentive and gracious without being intrusive. We most definitely be visiting before our return to the UK.
Very good food quality, you can personally choose fresh fish directly from the counter. Fair prices and friendly service, loved it
