My favorite restaurant in Portugal. Had a wonderful experience with the food and service. They were accommodating to move / change my reservation for six people, which is not always easy. Fresh, delicious seafood in a beautiful location.

I hadn't been here for a long time and it continues to be a beautiful restaurant, especially a beautiful place to have lunch right by the sea, above the lapiá trees that are so characteristic of this area. The food is good but the prices are not the most affordable, quite the opposite. A safe value in an area where there is no shortage of good fish and seafood restaurants.

Very tasty food, super nice service, always with a smile and a joke.
A special request due to allergies was fulfilled without any problems.
The awesome thing is the view. Not cheap, but worth the money. Clear recommendation.

Probably the worst seafood experience I’ve had during my visit to Portugal. Such a shame because it’s a very beautiful restaurant with an amazing view, however that’s where the pro’s end.

The service was amazingly slow, and when they finally made it to our table the server rushed our order all while answering calls in the middle.

We ordered a sea bream and a mixed shellfish platter. The sea bream was okay, very bland no spice or flavor. The mixed shellfish was terrible, pretty much inedible. All the shrimp and lobster was overcooked, and smelled and tasted awful.

I had really high hopes however the reviews let me down and I’m sure most of them are fake. Putting this out there to save people from wasting their time and money. Be safe.

This is an amazing restaurant, there fish and shrimp are incredible, and they have an amazing view of the ocean, and there is a fish that comes under a load of salt and they dig it out of the salt it is amazing you should try it.

We tested different restaurants on the Guincho route, and this one clearly had the worst value for money. The food is correct but far from being exceptional and lacks refinement in the presentation: for example, we had 'lobster pancakes' (at 26 eur) as a starter which are in reality large donuts served next to a slice lemon and loose, unseasoned carrots! We were charged more than 8 euros for a cheese, which we had not taken; I had to complain twice to have it corrected. And my fish (monkfish on a skewer) was not cooked enough.
The strong points of this place are the seafront setting (like the other restaurants on the Guincho road), and the service which is fast given the crowds.

This restaurant, recommended by my Portuguese professor, did not disappoint. It's a high-end local Portuguese eatery with a stunning ocean view, so the prices are on the higher side. However, the quality of the seafood and the service make it well worth the cost. The restaurant has a large outdoor seating area, but I still recommend making a reservation.

We decided to give this place a go after a couple recommendations and I have to say, a huge disappointment. The staff were friendly and very nice at the beginning, as the night went on we were forgotten about and were never asked if we liked our meal. To the food; we started with the clams which were great, could have had a bit more garlic and seasoning. We then had the monk fish and prawns and a paella, both of which had no seasoning and were totally overcooked. Every shrimp was like eating a rubber band and the fish was just sad.
Apart from the gorgeous views, this place needs new chefs and some training on how to cook seafood as the prices they are charging do not reflect the quality. I cannot say the seafood we received was very fresh either. We spat out the mussels as they were inedible. All glam and no substance.

Simply the best! The restaurant serves exceptionally high-quality seabass. We ordered peixe ao sal (which literally means fish baked in salt) - crispy on the outside and super tender on the inside, cooked to perfection. Each bite was flaky and flavourful, complemented by a delightful lemon butter sauce that enhanced the natural richness of the fish.

The prawns were sweet and fresh, with the side of cheese providing a decadent, mouth-watering flavour.

Overall, it's some of the best seafood I have had in Portugal. The exceptional service and beautiful ocean view also made it a truly memorable experience. I hope I can visit the restaurant again in the future.
