Homemade food without artifice, hearty dishes. Kindness. The truth is that it is a mandatory stop every year.

The dishes were well served, the atmosphere is very familiar, the price-quality ratio is satisfactory and there are regional dishes that are not on the menu, but you should ask... It's worth it!

I just don't give it maximum points because it doesn't have anything characteristic about it. But the food and friendliness overflow. I didn't like that the "boss" asked if I wanted a taxpayer, the time it took to do the math gave me the feeling that I would pay more

Filets de pescada was great!! We were on the way from Monchique to Arrifana. We actually just wanted to have a quick drink, then we saw several people eating something and thought, let's try something too. We were then very positively surprised.

The food was good, however paying €5 for half a liter of white wine I think is exaggerated.
Very good inexpensive food.

Tourist trap on Saturdays. Blatant Opportunist management owner. Dish of the day was promoted as being 12€. So I thought it would be a good value for money meal and ordered half a jug of house wine, olives with 4 slices of bread, 1 beer, a soup of the day and an espresso. Ended up paying more than twice the expected price. Asked to speak to the owner/manager who lamented his operating costs and the high state taxes. This is the type of place one should only go to on weekdays or with a regular client. If not then you can expect to get unashamedly ripped off...

I only had a coffee - that was good. Nice big terrace with lots of sun and also windbreaker. The staff was friendly and fast. Would say a typical portuguese Cafe in the mountains.
