Disappointed for a first restaurant in Portugal. First of all, the bread, which we pay for, is served wrapped in plastic. Also, most of the food seems to be frozen and the bread is frozen.
We also ordered a "burger" which ultimately didn't look like a burger at all. Sure enough, we were served a steak dipped in sauce and an egg. The fries, obviously, are frozen.
Coke without bubbles
However, the service is fast and the servers are pleasant despite the language barrier.
Exaggerated prices for certain dishes

I believe it was better... it doesn't have the "wave" of other times... works were carried out but what reaches the table is not as it was...

Marisqueira de Algés is a good restaurant on Algés boulevard. Its cuisine specializes in seafood, although it has meat and poultry options as well. The attendants are friendly. And it's very popular.

Seafood restaurant in the Alges area.
Very busy and does not take reservations on a first-come, first-served basis.
Service from some employees is not very friendly and it is clear that they needed more employees.
But as soon as we sat down, the food came quickly, was very well prepared and tasty.
Very good seafood.
Price appropriate to quality and quantity.

Great place to eat seafood or meat in Algés. Nowadays prices are a little higher but the quality and price are still good.

First restaurant tested in Portugal, frankly disappointed. As a "starter" I took some bread, which was wrapped in plastic and had already been there for a while because the toast was soft. My girlfriend had a scallop, which cost €17.50 for 5 poor pieces on the plate and a quarter of lemon, it looked like a frozen dish. Then we had two "hamburgers" which were in fact overcooked hamburger steaks in a soup with an egg on top and soft and tasteless fries on the side (photo in support). I am surprised that the restaurant is so well rated with so little taste, beauty of the dishes and with poor quality products. To avoid.

At 4 pm, I arrived at the restaurant with three friends. I'm already a customer there, but this time we just wanted to drink a few imperiales. The restaurant was empty at that time, so I didn't even ask if they minded. I thought any money coming in during the off hours would be welcome. To our surprise, at 5:00 pm we were literally kicked out of the restaurant. The person in charge, rude, aggressive and ill-mannered, said it was not the right place to drink imperiales and kicked us out of the restaurant with the bill. With the restaurant empty, I can't understand this type of customer treatment.
