The food/starters were ok but the dosis were way small for the price you pay. Specifics - it was the portugal vs france game, we went there to watch the game. We ordered "gambas à guillo" and we received a couple of pre-frozen "gambas à bulhão pato" - if the cook doesnt know the difference the two recipies then maybe he should dedicate himself to fishing. Then, we ordered chouriço assado - what we got was a quarter of chouriço thinly sliced to make it look like a good portion. Although the server was ok with the drinks - oh! They dont have caipirinha? Or gin tonic Even though they had everything to to them... Overall not recomended!

Very good quality of Portugess food and quantity also good. Service is incredible they are very friendly and understanding. The desserts also nicely made with great taste. Its one of the best portugess restaurant in Alges. Nothing to complain about. Who haven’t tried food here yet please do try and for sure you will like it. 100% Recommend!!

Touring the Algés area and with a reservation made, it was time to have lunch at Restaurante O Telheiro. Space with a well-organized interior room and a beautiful terrace, which filled up quickly. The service is efficient, attentive and very experienced. On my visit it came with Couvert Pão, two tasty slices of Cornbread, Olives and some Snacks. For the main course I ordered Grilled Mackerel with Spanish Sauce, accompanied by Boiled Potatoes and Mixed Salad. The Mackerel, although not large, were tasty and juicy, not at all dry. I accompanied it with White Wine from Casa Ouro de Monte and finished with a great slice of homemade Egg Pudding with lots of Caramel. Meal around €20.

June 8th...while the youngest was at the concert, here the couple decided to eat. Here, or there, but as fate would have it, it was on this terrace. It couldn't have been better. Top imperials. Some samosas...that made me remember childhood times, where the beach was in the Indian Ocean, and where D.na Filomena used to make some samosas here... These have that something, which I can't explain...the tasty dough, it snaps (doesn't stretch) and the filling... well, it has that seasoning that doesn't sting, but only stings after swallowing. Do you know what it's like? Whoever served us was impeccable, but we could tell who was in charge. And a very healthy empathy was created. Here you go, some guilloche prawns, divine. Arrange it from here, arrange it from there, and a small pot of cuttlefish feijoada arrived. High there and for the dance: these beans are not the ones we usually serve. It's not white, it's butter!!! You will have to try it, with caution. Simply delicious. To eat and cry for more. While we were tasting, a lady came to the door, wearing a blue apron, and looked at our table. I praised the feijoada, and the virtuosity of using different beans, this one with butter beans. It is a characteristic of the house. For us, never changing. Conversation generates conversation, and here's the secret of samosas: D.na Joaquina also took a bath in the Indian Ocean.
